Contenders are ruthless and put the foot down on poor teams. We have been fairly ordinary this second half to be honest. Too many turnovers and half assed "the game has already been won" efforts. If we played a decent team today, we'd probably be losing. Still, a big win regardless.

He's not quite got the confidence to join our dynamic fleet of rebounders, but he's never been able to put a run of games together

And this is it. They recall fringe players after a long absence and everybody seems to expect they will perform at an optimum level immediately. When they don't, they get shit-canned. MC are partly to blame because some of these players aren't given a decent run of games to adjust to playing in the seniors. But we supporters should have a little more awareness too.

i expect we'd see the same happen with Garcia if he gets a game soon.

Not top 10 players by any means but some if not all of them could be good role players if allowed a few games to find their feet at AFL level.
