Cat saliva is often found to be the cause of most people's cat allergies as it turns out.
After visiting my in laws a few times and sitting on their couch I discovered within 30 minutes or so my eyes itch and swell up.
Went to doctor only to be sent to Melbourne for testing. One of the things they tested, outside of pollens, nuts etc, was cat saliva on my skin.

BANG.

Eyes swelled up, itched, water falling from them like a bloody stream. Allergic to cat saliva. Who knew?
