A few years ago my wife received a rude verbal spray after she was startled by a dog that appeared quickly around a corner on the busy Chapel St shopping strip. Dog was on a leash and my wife moved on without complaining but the dog owner snapped at her 'Its only a dog you idiot'.

If I was there I would have told that scumbag what I thought of his behaviour, especially towards a woman.
 
Dogs inside the house but whole house is timber and tile floored and the dog sits and sleeps on its own bed in the living room.

And I will be honest and state that not letting scared dogs inside when there is fireworks and thunder outside is pet abuse.

Short haired v long haired.

Long haired dogs are filth.

Had a Labrador growing up and she would just swim in the river and you'd never have to wash her and she would be ok.

Also had a Scottish terrier and you would wash him and he would be disgusting again in a few days.

More Indoor vs Outdoor dogs.

Whippets are a lot like red headed step children, need to keep them inside a lot for all types of weather.
