Not too often that a third year player wins a Showdown medal and consistently racks up the possessions each week.

The gap between the two isnt that big. sheed had a massive last year and his year went under the radar due to the dominance of cripps, hogan and bont. Crouch has had a full year and come on a lot from last year and gone past sheed but thats mostly due to sheeds injury. Since returning from injury sheed took a bit to find his feet but stood up against GWS when it counted and starred against the crows and hawks.

Finally starting to see what Sheed can do with a proper midfield role. Matt is fantastic and easily had the better individual accolades so far, but i reckon this will be a pretty even comparison going forward.

Sheed is way better. Matt Crouch has 0 hurt factor Sheeds kicking is far superior plus while they both aren't quick Sheeds is quicker

So we have let a decent period of time pass and one has a premiership medal and one doesn’t!

Arrogance aside, Dom is a quality B grade midfielder and so is Crouch. They are not far off each other in my ratings and if Crouch could improve his hurt factor like Dom improved his tank, then it would be even closer

Sheed needs to do it for longer before he is equal to or better than Crouch. Crouch is already and All-Australian, best and fairest winner and runner-up. Sheed has literally played three games when he hasn't been a periphery player.
