Bet he didn't even see the game or realise Dom was the Sub. Had a great impact for a sub player IMO. Especially since he is a young pup.

being clever like that buys time and makes true leg speed less relevant. from my observations this year too many of our blokes are unwilling or unable to take a game on like this and end up either: (a) selling a flat-footed teammate into trouble (b) rushing a disposal that goes OOB, straight to the opposition or possibly along the ground to a 50-50 contest or (c) trying to duck their fkg way into a free kick!

instinct is something that absolutely can't be taught and while i haven't seen as much of sheed as i expected this year, these are the sort of efforts you keep an eye out for... a bit like keeping your arms free in a tackle as someone else pointed out.

very happy with his output from only a quarter of action - a goal or two (both gettable) really would've topped it off.
