His career is tracking the same way Masten's has unfortunately. High hopes initially but not really coming along at the rate expected and 5 years in it's hard to say his ceiling is much above a solid B grade contributor. Which is OK, every team needs them.

He needs a spell in the WAFL for sure but also people need to reassess the level they expect him to reach.

Been a big fan of Sheed since we drafted him and often overrated him, but losing faith in him becoming a long term part of our midfield. Simply not a competent enough contested ball getter in his role as an inside mid, at least Priddis was good at that. Really disappointed with his game last night, hoping that his fitness after returning from injury is a factor, but definitely needs a run in the twos.
 
Had the chance to really stamp himself on the game with Priddis and Mitchell gone.
Instead he's gone backwards and his games last 2 games have been really disappointing.

Looks the goods when he's on; but his piss poor defensive efforts and not good enough in close means he's been far overtaken.
Won't be surprised to see him pushed out of the midfield with what he's dishing out.

Looks good against bottom 8 - looks crap against good teams
 
For such an early pick he is looking like a bust at the moment, happy enough to keep on the list as depth but any thoughts and hopes I had of him becoming a B grader are vanishing rapidly by the week.

Dumb footballer , lacks pace and lacks poise.

He was in prime position to have kicked two goals on the run last night and muffed them both, sadly thats not the first time I have seen him squander excellent scoring opportunities.

Cant see a bright future for him at the moment in our midfield , he is only getting pressure from Hutchings and that in itself is a worry from a list perspective.

His form ( or lack thereof ) just highlights the seriously bad state of our list with no young midfielders , other than Ainsworth coming through.

I do hold hopes of Cole being given midfield time , he played there in the TAC Cup Comp and for Vic Country.

I suspect Partington will ask for a trade at seasons end, seems to be very much on the outer with the match committee and if he wants to play AFL he will need to look elsewhere.

We really need to pick two midfielders with both our second round picks at this years draft and possible look to trade one midfielder in , if there is a suitable player available and who is on the market.

Note to Rohan O'BRIEN & Co : We need to select midfielders in this years draft and we need to nail both our second round picks.

The good news is that he played two quarters of football as a inside mid in the under 16's and O'Brien has high hopes of him being converted into a Fyfe clone.

Well Said.
He is known as one of our laziest trainers, until that changes and gets a AFL body.
I think he is just going to tread water.
Every big game he has played in his career so far has gone missing ?
With his GF performance the worst of the lot
 
Won't join the Sheed hate train but I would like to see him hit the score board more.

Few goals or goal assists.

Can't point out negatives without giving the standards he needs to be judged on.
