Sheed was better today.

Still question marks over his physicality and understandably lacked a bit of composure. But did some positive things and used it well by hand.

The good thing about Sheed could be that he has massive upside yet to be seen. The bad thing is he could just be another Masten/Sheppard/Selwood clone and the only upside is "Talk" of an upside.
 
The last shot on goal was bad, but the work he did to get the ball was unreal.

Hopefully he's rewarded with a full game next week.

EDIT: And to those calling him slow....... Definitely not slow.
 
Seems like one of those players like Lynch and Darling who kicks them beautifully from 50 because they kick through the ball, but then freeze up and try to nurse it anywhere within 25m

Yep hes got some zip, hes alright. Got in some nice spots, made a nice run to receive only to stuff the kick on goal but he does have a natural sense of the game. Sold a nice fake early in the 4th as well. Lots of quality footy ahead for this 19yo

I can see where the Pendlebury comparisons are coming from. Looked really smooth through traffic.

If he becomes half, just half, the player Pendlebury is....well my word...we'll have a absolute gun.
 
Get another preseason into this man and we will have a Priddis with better kicking on our hands.

The good thing about Sheed is that he might improve. The bad thing about Sheed is that he might not.

Wow. Blow my mind.
 
In the old grading system in the end of year reports, I'd have Sheed graded over Masten on expectations/chances had/ results delivered at present.(2014 has been terrible for Masten)

Even though he missed the goal i loved his work rate to get to the goal square to take the mark coming from the backline. Great running. Looked good today.
 
like to see more of sheed...he shouldve banked those 2 sausage rolls though! early days.
