Dome of Doom?

Ummm, I'm all for making our home games feared by other teams but maybe we should put it to the vote on the saints website about the nickname given to the the Telstra Dome for St Kilda home games. Even when "The Fly" says it, you can hear his tongue in his cheek.

Dome of Doom- sure it's two D's but i think it's kinda gay. What about something simple like the 'Cauldren' or something about Moorabin. Maybe we can have the outta wing renamed the Moorabin wing or the Winmar wing. Take last sunday for example - it was hilarious how the outta side were the only ones to boo the umpires on their return to the ground before the third quarter.

Just trying to extract some great ideas from our knowlegdable fan base and create more excitement for the younger fans which generates more fans which generates memberships down the track.

I couldn't really help you there. I do agree that it needs a name though. I'll have a good hard think about it later.

Maybe we can have the outta wing renamed the Moorabbin wing or the Winmar wing.

Go talk to the guys on L3 Aisle 35 during Saints home games. There has been an unofficial "Moorabbin Wing" there since 2002.

You werent the only ones booing the umpires!
