Dreaming if you think they'll land Ryder. They are going to have enough trouble fitting Walker, Sloane and Dangerfield in the salary cap, let alone paying at least 650k to Ryder. Absolutely no chance they land him.

Those two morons are case in point to a theory I have where there are some football supporters who take their devotion to the team to fundamental levels. Kind of like a sociopath supporter. Oblivious to reason or opinions that differ from their own. Unable to form opinions that are independent of their clubs and will blindly defend their cause like they are one of the 18 out on the field. Crazy keyboard warriors on a crusade, except they're proper crazy.
Sort of like Port supporters 24 months ago?
nah, hanging tough and being a sociopath are two different things, but I can recall maybe 1-2 on here who sounded borderline sociopath 24 months back lol. The rest of us were just very p*ssed off with the threat that we'd fall into - or be locked into - a culture of failure, but even at our lowest ebb all but the slightly nutty few were still measuring our 'achievement' or lack thereof and our club's actions (or its inability to act) with respect to the rest of the competition's behaviour. Our club had dysfunctional and borderline incompetent moments in that era but we never tried to poison our players nor did we ever encourage our fans' culture into turning toxic. Huge difference from what Essendon has done to their fans' culture. They now drink from a fountain that spews delusion, denial and entitlement in equal measure. Will take a generation to fix like Germany post WWII getting over what they had done.

As Tribey said a couple of days ago the trade period doesn't exist for our entertainment. It's a once a year window for clubs to do business. If you're bored with it all go outside and fly a kite. It's nice and windy.
Think I'd rather go an dance in the rain. It's drizzling ou my way. At least then I'd get some exercise (and a shower at the same time), take my mind of this Trade Week thing, and maybe even give the neighbours a laugh.

The trade will get done. Just waiting on who will blink first at the moment.

My money is on Essendon on the final day having an epiphany that they must pull their pants down, bend over, and cop it sweet.
