Article in the Age saying Essendon are trying to lure back Chris Heffernan.

I dont think we'd get anything for him as Essendon would most probably try to pick him up in the PSD, they've got pick 5 and I doubt many clubs above them will be that keen on the Hef.

He's been almost useless for the dees but he would fit in a lot better at the dons. We have plenty of heffernan type players where as the dons lack a bit of class through the middle. It would be nice to get something from the dons in return. Maybe throw in a pick and get try for one of there tough midfielders. Unlikely though I suppose.

I think he will do alright back at Ess. Its not that he is useless he just didn't seem settled at Melbs and never really put any good game together.

If he does get traded it would most likely be for a 3rd round pick
