I just very rarely am wrong, that's all.
But on this occasion, it appears you may be right. Hawthorn led by 97 points, but not a hundred. Pity Essendon don't hold the record losing margin though. I'm sure you would have loved that.

Yes, your not quiet when your wrong. You just flat out refuse to admit it. On this occasion, not that there are many as you say
your wrong. I still havent heard you admit it. Also the first post had nothing to do with winning margin or do you always change others views to suit your own. It takes a big man to admit to mistakes, so i dont expect to hear from you again.

How bout this for a glitch in the armor
Why dont you get a list of the teams that have won the most finals
Then divided it by the years they have been in the competion
To get an average
You will find that essendon quickly loose their top place
That is one trophy essendon doesnt own
Nor the most supporters i dont know where you got that idea from.
Check the stats
Eagles,Crows and port
are all ahead

Ha ha. Don't make me laugh. They can't even fill their own stadium. They are the second string team in a small city of a million people, so please......don't compare them with Essendon.

I think West Coast hold that record, since they have won 12 finals matches in 14 seasons
Adelaide have won 8 finals matches in 10 seasons.
But can they both keep that up for 100 years ? Doubt it. Also, more teams make the finals nowadays so it is easier to win finals matches. In the old days, only 4 out of 12 made it.

Say the competition only started when it went from VFL to AFL
Isn't that what it is all about
So therefore
These Records you talk about are void
For the simple reason that it is no longer a victorian competition but a national competition
Who knows what would have happend had all interstate teams been their from the begining
We are in a national competition,so as far as records and bragging rights go
They should only be based on the time span from when the game became national
Dan you can brag about those records to you fellow victorians, but please refer to that as the VFL
Otherwise if it is aimed at everyone
Keep it during the last 10-15 years
