This the same club (bulldogs) that intimidated Michael Gardiner and Ben Cousins. Whereas we have your only premiership coach. Of course you would want the bulldogs to win. I can see the logic in that now.

Intimidation and coaches swapping are all part and parcle of the game. That's like saying Adelaide fans, should be going for St Kilda when they're not playing the Crows.

I've never really hated the dogs, in fact when i first started following footy in the late 50's i decided i would choose between Hawthorn or Bulldogs, and i chose Hawks. There are a couple of reasons i didn't mind the bulldogs:

When i started playing for my club they were the East Sydney Bulldogs, i was pretty young (15), so it kinda made me think it was sacreligious to dislike a team called bulldogs - i also go for the Canterbury Bulldogs in league. (strange reason, but true)

The other was that i liked their style of football, very rugged and tough. Very much the same style of football i played. I didn't have that much skill, just a lot of determination.

And as Same Old's said, i also tipped the dogs to get up
