You know I still can't remember whether I recieved my deposit back when I moved into my home in 1978.
In those days you had to pay a deposit for gas and electricity and when both were privatised - not sure I got it back.

No electricity here at work in Thomastown now going on five hours.....they are saying 2pm after saying 11pm.

I don’t think 3rd world countries are this bad.

Lucky the price of Electricity keeps going up in Australia.....

Actually, I just may. If I recall, the electricity deposit was to the council but the Gas and fuel Corp. has well and truly gone.
Another thought is that I may just wander up to my local MP and ruin her day.

Don't think there were as many blackouts like there are nowadays.

Happens in my area just about every other week, then have to go around and re-set the clocks!
