i'm watching the melbourne saints game and lyons and roos are commenting.... and it's like a morgue. Roos is depressing at the best of times.

My point is everyone sparks up when Ed is calling but there is a queue of serial barrackers on FOX...... Brown and Lynch do the brisbane games and it's 3 hours of brisbane bears cheering..... dermot and fatty..... bring back the professional callers like sandy.

actually ED is trying to reflect some of the excitement that the saints fans must be feeling while lyon and roos are crying in their beers. Saints fans will dump s**t on ED but they forget that at least he is making an effort. I actually think ED does a good job. Dont stone me...

Just as Luke Hodge has finished a commentary on the boundary line with Abby, Bruce said along the lines:

I don’t think elbowing a female is right in any circumstances.

Poor choice of words. But not one spot of commentary about it from anyone.

I’ve been through the Vatican, and the wealth on display is just amazing. And it’s not where they have their real money!
For an organisation that is supposedly run to benefit mankind, they spend very little of what they collect on the people who need it most.
A bit like Scientology.

That was what I was thinking when it was reported that 1 billion euro had been donated/ pledged for the restoration - how much has the Vatican kicked in and why was it needed for private funds to be donated? The RC church is one of the most wealthiest organisations on the planet and yet it is silent on dipping into its own pockets ...

Absolutely, never seen anything like it. Sure, sin city and all that but this is at a whole other level. Smoking everywhere in the hotel/casino complex, bogans (not sure what the American equivalent is) abound and the terms tacky, trashy just doesn’t do it justice. Got off the plane and what’s the first thing you see? Slot machines, in the airport FFS!!

Grand Canyon was great though, well worth the visit.

It's probably showing the server time (or another timezone) as opposed to the time where you're located.
