I didn't have the good fortune of seeing Doogs in action on the weekend – can anybody tell me how he is wearing his hair these days? He caused much consternation amongst Eagle supporters with his flowing long locks, and I was hoping you Bulldog fans would be more understanding and accepting of his choice in hairstyles.

With his long hair and gentle soul, I just don't think Doogs fit in at the Eagles. I heard Michael Gardiner once threatened physical violence upon Doogs after he wore a bandanna to training one time. Isn't that just terrible?

Anyway, I salute this fine thread and Rocco Jones for creating it. Doogs needs love! I will follow this thread throughout the year and rejoice in every good game he plays with you. Bulldogs are now my second favourite side.

Count me in Rocco, i remember posting back during the 2005 trade period that we should seriously consider picking up Doogs, 1 year later we did.

Doogs will stick it right up those E-girls, you just wait & see!

I'm not 100% convinced just yet, but was keen on us landing him.

Friday may force my hand but I might wait until the season proper before I put up my hard earned to buy a seat on the Doog Train.

What impressed me most with Doogs, sure, he's not going to win a one on one strength battle with the likes of Mal Michael..

But what he does is read the play "extremely" well, is a good lead, and can take good grabs, could play a similar role to Ash Hansen at West Coast, will be a big target up forward, could work very nicely in tandem across that CHF line with Rob Murphy.

I think he will do well at the Dogs.

But lets not forget the other player who had a great debut for us aswell, Rawlings. He was invincible that game and i would imagine everyone got on his bandwagon then and what did he produce, nada. Although i am jumping aboard the Droogs train im not completely sold but am willing to take the risk

Cam Faulkner also debuted really well, but has done very little since then- the only difference is that he's still on the list, but I wouldn't think that he'd be there too much longer if he keeps up his current form.

I'll jump on their bandwagon's, but not with full confidence...just because they look the goods, which they all do when they debut well...meh.

The wife would constantly harp on about his swimmers body when she worked at St John of God hospital (as he is fairly prone to injury see my post about his girly bone structure he was there allot)
