Hope you have a better grasp of footy than you do of cycling.

Hmmm... I'd put that comment back at you.

The sprint comment, which I assume is what you are taking issue with, was a little tongue in cheek but only slightly. I didn't say bunch sprints, incidentally (although he actually has a few Top 10 finishes).

Froome is ahead of where he should be in all aspects of cycling based on pedigree and physiology. If you watch his performances and aren't suspicious then we should talk about this bridge I can sell you.

Ridiculous, and about all there is behind your assertions.

Yeah, his youth and early pro years really showed he had the makings of a champion...

But I admit, you can see how he beat Armstrong's 2003 and 2005 times up the Ax 3 Domaines in 2013 - it's because he trains better or something.

I think the best description of his performances is the one from Not Normal in 2013 - "Miraculous". Not quite "Mutant" (as were Contador, Riis, Ulrich and Armstrong) but not far off.

Why don't you explain why his stellar early years were suggestive of his current unbeatable form rather than calling me names?

It is a well accepted fact Sky could put a trained monkey on a bike as their team leader and have it win the Tour.

you do need *some* talent to win, even with the copious amounts of juice Sky are pumping into them.

But yeah, when Mick Rogers is having career best form when cycling for Sky you have to smell a rat.

You do hear a lot of murmurs about Sky.

For the sports sake, I really hope it's just cynicism.

Paolini has tested positive to Cocaine after a random test after stage 4 of TDF. I'm sorry but I lol'd when i read.

That would be a good point if every top cyclist (and athlete) came from a top pedigree and had huge success in their youth. But that's simply not that case.

Which of his current rivals showed less sporting talent? His times show him to be one of the greats (even compared to the doping era). Where did that come from?

froome showed nothing until the vuelta at which point he went from a barely useful domestique, to grand tour dominator. There was talk of sky dropping him. Then. BOOM. His Palmares before thay Vuelta are ordinary to say the least. Then he got a rare debilitating disease, disappeared for 6 months and came back as superman.

Nothing at all to be suspicious of there!!!

Marginal gains. Explains everything. Well, that and Badzilla. And they're about sign Landa - he looks legit too.

Ah. FFS. Here it goes again.

Amazing that Sky has 5 riders better than every single French rider. Guess they don't have marginal gains over the channel.

This is bullshit unless Froome is better clean than Lance ever was at his very peak.

It's the special training programs - explains it all. Even Froome's rise from an average domestic to smashing the other GC contenders. Marginal gains and all that......pure, honest, hard work. Complete horse crap if you ask me. If it's too good to be true it usually is.
