I wouldn't underestimate Tejay Vangarderen, he is a very good timetrialist. Will be in the top 10 in the world champs this year I reckon.

Wiggins beating Cancellera by a minute is a little laugable, no way anyone is that much faster then Canc in a TT.

Out of no where 2 sky riders just fly ahead of everyone and it wasn't cadel going slow he only lost 46 seconds to canc which is an ok TT for him.

I have been a little sus of him ever since I heard David Millar say the only guy he thinks is clean is Bradley Wiggins.

Geez guys give it a rest. It's not as if this has "come from nowhere" like everyone is claiming. Everyone knows that Wiggins is a great timetrialer. Froome is also very strong. Add that to the fact they have Geraint Thomas, Mick Rodgers, Richie Porte, EBH and Rigoberto Uran all on their list of riders, I would guess there is a fair bit of time trial training that happens with that team.

No point getting all up in arms because Evans lost time. It was always going to happen. I've been saying it all tour, this tour was made for Wiggins. Minimal summit finishes and lots of TT miles. If Wiggins doesn't win this year, he never will. He knows that and so does Sky. They have put all their resources towards their goal, and it's working.

Team Sky is pretty much run by the same people who masterminded Britains' complete domination of the Olympic track cycling in Bejing, if you don't want to believe in anything dodgy then I suppose the assumption must be that they're taking all their sports science stuff and massive budget and have pushed the limits in the road stuff like they did on the track.On the track Australia have come back at them hard and pretty much bridged the gap in a couple of years so it showed that what they were doing there wasn't superhuman.

But smash him like that, i just dont believe. Ok so theyve trained alot for TT's, but what were the great TT riders doing, did they just sit at home and eat maccas? Then that reporter targeted wiggins for a reason. Its all a big great thing to say wiggins told him where to go, yay good on him but he didnt go and target 1 of the previous stage winners like sagan etc etc. He targeted him for a reason. Cancellara has spent months recovering from a quadruple break in his collarbone. Martin has a broken scaphoid sustained in stage 1 of this race.

The course suited riders who could climb, given the rise before time check 1. Look at Zabriske and Millar. Great timetrialers who can't climb. Didn't get a good time.

Finally, riding a grand tour comes down to fitness as well as talent. Look at the riders who did well. All of them are either GC contenders, or team mates of those who are. They are primed for the tour. More than likely, Cancellara, Martin et al are using the tour to train for their main goal; the Olympics.

Maybe do a little research before insinuating things.

Spot on .There is no way in the world brailsford etc would allow the possibility of a drugs scandal that would taint the legacy of the last decade of british track cycling and would basically be the end of the sport in Britain . I am obviously biased but I maintain there is absolutly no chance the Sky team is systematically using drugs

Sadly this is what happens in a sport like cycling when someone starts winning .Its funny I looked at someone like Contador these last years and immediatly think he has cheated yet I never think the same of Evans or Schleck or Cancellara for example

Well that was a farce. I got a bad feeling when Sky did a US Postal train on the climb of the pretty girls a few days back, and Froome won the stage. Today only made that feeling worse.

Wiggo & Froome being 1min and 30sec better than all the rest? Sorry, I can't buy that. Work in the hills like a mule for two days, then blitz all specialists in a time trial... Yeah, sure Christopher....

Yeah, nah. Up until recently with Sky, Wiggins lost time in all time-trials over 20 or so kms. Froome, no one had even heard of before last year's Vuelta. Now he's the best climber and the second best time-trialer of the Tour so far. Surrrrrrrrrre.
