I don't get this reasoning or guess work. Sure, have a go at Froome and others for being on illegal drugs, but to say he's the on different stuff to everyone else? That's ridiculous.

I agree it's not a very scientific explanation, my belief though is Froome is 'legally' doping, thus he is permitted to use agents which the rest of the field arent legally entitled to.

If this is the case, i wouldn't be surprised if other cyclists suddenly get the same kind of disease. Kind of like how MMA suddenly all the guys need testosterone replacement :)

Ha, yeh the MMA TUE for TRT is out of hand, one of the top contenders cant even fight in the US (Belfort) because of it.

Back to cycling, i was watching some of Lances finest moments today, he at least got out of the saddle and had the sense to come second on most of the stages (including his ride up the Ventoux). Not sure if its an ego thing but if Froome had of come second to Quintana it would have looked alot less suspicious. Lance had ego for days as well so who knows?

Tours to Kenya to lick African goat shit.....

Oh look, I have a parasite, load me up with EPO please

I'm trying to find an article that I think was posted on bigfooty somewhere earlier this year about an amateur athlete (cyclist or weightlifter or something??) who purchased a heap of performance enhancing drugs and tested their effect on his performance. Not sure where I saw it and haven't had any luck searching for it so any help would be appreciated.

According to Phil doping ended in 2005. How is this clown still on TV, he is a joke.

yeah saw that and thought piss off Phil. yep Wiggo and Cadel were clean. How come you didn't name Contador? Schleck? Sastre?

Edit: There's a much better older article about a cyclist who uses EPO/HGH/AAS and has incredible results, will try find it.

Contador always has his best day in the Tour the day after the 2nd rest day (according to Phil & Paul).

Gee.. I wonder if that's because they take the opportunity of the day off to give him that extra bag of blood they took out a month or so earlier? Plasticisers in his blood, along with clenbuterol. I wonder how that got there?

I've never thought Cadel was clean. BMC were caught with EPO just before he magically had the best performance of his career.

He just didn't make it look blatant.
Where did you get that from? I don't remember BMC being pinged for doping at all during Cadel's time with the team. Ballan was involved in a seemingly never ending investigation, but that dated to his time with Lampre. I could be wrong. Happy to be contradicted - certainly not under any illusions about Cadel living on milk & bread.

Tbh if your not doing what Armstrong or froome are doing ( ie blatantly doping ) you get a pass from me. Schleck and contador are growing on me

Reading through a previous article and the likelihood of doping, it appears as though his times are achievable through normal human endeavors. He never sprinted up mountains as an example.

I assume he doped, because how can you get within 30 seconds of Contador in 2007, who we know is a drug cheat.

In 2011 cadel cracked frank in the mountains and he got done for doping he next day, cadel is getting a bit of help but no ridiculous amount which is fine really

BMC denied all links.

Yes that's what you do when there's no hard proof it was your EPO.

Do you think they'd confess?

Lance cheated to win 7 tours. He didn't confess. He kept it secret for years.

NOBODY COMES CLEAN!!! THEY HAVE TO BE CAUGHT RED HANDED!

I was always under the impression that Sastre had never been implicated or linked to any doping allegations. Doesn't mean he didn't do it, but I've never heard him be questioned.

Yeah your right about Sastre. I was mixing up the dopers with the "cleans" and wondering why Phil didn't name them all as they were all post 2005 winners.

Sastre just got that Bradbury win when everyone left him when he attacked on the base of Huez because Frank/Andy whoever of the two had the Yellow jersey.

I still think he has a TUE which manipulates his blood values thus the ABP cannot legally be used against him and he has free reign to blood dope.

There's no TUE. He's not taking any medication. For the parasitic infection, he has a check up every 6 months (last in January), when he takes a course of Biltricide.

Great read. I have forwarded to a number of guys i ride with/take an interest in this sort of stuff.

RU, if its okay with you (and mods) i wouldn't mind starting a thread to discuss users thoughts on taking PED's and experiences with them. Without wanting to turn this place into bb type forum i would love to get some sane rational peoples thoughts about the subject. This is becoming more and more common place in society and acceptance of "weekend warriors" using stuff to enhance them is higher than ever. I realise its a very touchy subject but I might start it up later tonight on here (mods can you let me know where would be best to put it)
