I don't know about you but I reckon two games on a Friday night might be over saturating the market. I mean can you seriously sit down and watch 160 minutes of football without falling asleep? Perhaps Thursday night footy? Beats the NRL footy show.

Super Saturday single-handedly made PTV a viable concern in Northern Australia. I don't see much trouble with a double header on FTA on a friday night being a winner, if a Triple Header on FTV on a saturday can generate a large percentage of PTV's subscriber base.

I reckon double Fri night games are a good thing.
From a Melbourne perspective we have been ignored and shunted from the Friday night timeslot for 10 years. The more chance we get to play on Friday nights and get FTA coverage the better.

I love. Will be watching when I get the chance.

Beats the late-night crappy movies on Channel 9, anyway.

I'd prefer Nine show a game on Saturday instead but 1 live and 1 delayed on Friday is much better than 1 delayed.

In melbourne now do we get every storm game which Ch9 does because of the AFL buggering off to 7? Will that also mean we get more games not involving the storm into melbourne at a decent hour?

Let's hope so although I think most of our games will be on Sunday arvo or Saturday night timeslot.
i think you'll find a lot of our games are on Foxtel.
I'm hoping the NRL does the right thing and gives Storm more than one token Friday night home game to boost our exposure down here.

Besides Storm games, what time do we get games down here??

Is it 8:30pm? Cause Eddie may be a bit reluctant in putting it too early when the AFL season starts.

You'll be getting games that don't involve the storm from 11:30 or so next week (actually 12:05-4:05am next week).

And even if the Storm do play, I reckon you'll be lucky if they do show it before 10:30.
