For ever Cat Supporter who is currently on Bigfooty...

piss off!!! :p

You deserve to celebrate. Go off and have fun. Celebrate the fact that you've just won your first flag in 44 years. You guys should be partying for the next couple of days. No, the next couple of weeks! :D

Well done guys!!! :thumbsu:

I'm relaxing at home mate as I'm absolutely stuffed from the finals campaign.

Haven't been able to sleep/eat properly.

So I'll be chilling out today.

Mate I have the hang-over to end all hang-overs!

Resting up before hitting the town again this afternoon......

We are Geelong the Greatest team of ALL

And I'm trying to come to grips that my brain isnt stressing, thinking or dreaming about finals football for the first time in a month!

Went down to the ground for the famiy day and its good (well, til my daughter threw up) - Max Rooke is as off his face as a person could be without hospitalisation.

Of note that introduced the players plus Egan. No Blake though.... not even amongst the VFL guys. Mr D Johnson looked rather sheepish up on stage let me tell you.

Well done pussies and I hope you all have a top celebration.

Just returned from the family day. Awesome crowd down there, easily 35,000 plus. Fantastic atmosphere too. Unfortunately all the tears from Adelaide blew over, disguised as rain, but that wasn't until after the team was presented. :thumbsu:

Yeah I was down there too, there would be around 35,000 there
Most people couldn't get in because they were only allowed to hold 28,000 people but I think everyone just charged in!
Was great to see Chappy give us a replay of his mark!

Max was hilarious, especially when he was asked about the tackle of the year (the one on Thurstans) and he just looked at the interviewer with a blank face and said "which one?"

Was sitting in the Hickey stand, and the audio setup was pretty darn ordinary. Could hear Huddo clearly, but could hardly hear Doug Wade, Cooky or any of the other people they were talking to. Thankfully it was rectified by the time the players got there.

A few people have sent in some texts to SEN today saying that for the players to sign autographs and the like was really poor.

What's everyone's take on all that sort of stuff?

They didnt stay long at all , but I dont think it was a day for it . Most of them were still drunk or under the weather, Max was still in his clothes from last night so he didnt get any sleep. Dont think they could sit and sign today.
There is a parade through the streets of Geelong on Wednesday at 11am , that may be more the place for the autographs.

Yeah, saw the pic and Mr Rooke was still in his official GFC suit/tie.

Good point the parade would be a better oppotunity for Cats fans who are interested in getting some autographs.

I thought it was great the players were hilarious Max Rooke i don't know if he was trying to be funny or he was just to drunk to put together more than 3 or 4 words. Chappy bailed Steve Johnson out of some major embarassment the little ripper. Jimmy was also a great ambassador for the team when he did his little chat beforehand. Good on the cattas.

Was wondering wtf he was doing.

Rooke and Enright were the best though. Rookie is the biggest bum in a suit, and Enright's entrance was the best by far.

"I had it dry cleaned early this morning."

Brownless: "What's the number on your jumper?"
Boris: "...44!"
Brownless: "And how long since Geelong won a flag?"
Boris "...44!"

Can't believe there were people bitching to SEN about the players not signing autographs etc. Believe it or not, it's not all about you and your brats. Yes it would have been nice to get some autographs if there were a few dozen people there but given the crowd, imagine if they'd tried to do that, how crazy would the place have gotten? Frankly it would have been dangerous. I'm sure it was the usual people who complain about everything at the first opportunity. Everyone around me looked like the were having one of the best days of their lives - I know I was!! Thumbs up to the Catters, 2007 PREMIERS!
