Thought that was the Bombers.
Nah Friday night at the G IIRC VS Richmond. I was going clubbing after the game and I remember feeling bad standing on the G in my stilettos!

Talented player, but much maligned because the coaches we had insisted on playing him as a defender. He was recruited as a KPF.Poor Livo

If Brittain had got rid of Fev as planned, Livo would have been played forward

Any one remember this bloke...
Damien Lock?
We missed out on a good'un, Ron Best, who chose to stay in Bendigo.Back in the days of the "mystical country recruit who coulda been anything"......Steve Oliver. Tony Southcombe, Jim Canfield, Ross Ditchburn...come readily to mind.
Great stuff
Wasnt he arrested and up on drug charges after he stopped playing?
He was my teacher at Kangaroo Flat Tech. Nice guy. Ready to listen, never blew up at ya for making stupid mistakes. We missed out on a good'un, Ron Best, who chose to stay in Bendigo.
Seem to remember he was in some sort of trouble and may have possibly been rumours around whilst he was playing even.Wasnt he arrested and up on drug charges after he stopped playing?

Never heard that.
Off to google for clarification.
THE three Eaglehawk fooballers at the centre of drug raids in Bendigo earlier this year have parted ways with the club.
Damien Lock, Sean Smith and Adam Rout, who were arrested in a string of drug raids in Bendigo on May 22 this year, have decided to quit the Eaglehawk Football-Netball Club.
Smith and Lock have signed with Central Murray Football League premier Kerang, while Rout is believed to be heading to Heathcote District Football League club Elmore.
The trio were the talk of the football world when they were arrested on the morning of the Borough's grand final rematch with Gisborne at Gardiner Reserve.
Smith was charged with trafficking ecstasy, possessing and using cannabis and possessing prescribed drugs.
Yeah appears to have been caught up in the Gangland/Underworld investigation.I just googled it. Damien Lock was up on drug charges in 2004 along with other Bendigo players. Not sure of the outcome, someone no doubt will remember.
