Sure is....Mario B!
Parkin said they included Klomp because they were expecting heavy conditions, but although it did rain a little bit the ground stayed in good condition & in hindsight it was felt they should have played the extra forward, Clarke (this was particularly reiterated after Ditchburn went down with concussion in the 1st quarter). Was a funny one, Austin utterly baked Matthews, then got injured on the Sunday recovery.
By memory Robbert Klomp, gazumped all 3.
I think that Curly, after he finished playing, got into the teaching game... Worked at a high school in Thomastown. Spotted him there when I was doing some glazing work there.Yep, was a huge Bomba fan!

..... (this was particularly reiterated after Ditchburn went down with concussion in the 1st quarter).
It was quite clumsy by Martello, who was on his last legs by that stage of his career.Friggin Alan Martello, Box Hill Pioneers pride and joy, squished Ditchburn's head like a bug.
Jon Dorotich #6, was part of the big name recruits who came to the club in 1986.
Below he was vigorous at times with Dermie and at other times with vigorous with himself.....

Did his old man walk on the moon ??
Do you remember him stubbing his toe into the turf at Waverley that day?![]()

Speaking of trips down memory lane...would you fork out $15-$20 to go to the lecture theatre at Visy Park and watch - for example, Kouta's magnificent game against West Coast in '96 or the Prelim of '99? The volume would be on very low and Kouta would be there in person speaking about the game...kind of like a Director's cut. Probably popcorn and soft drinks as well. I'd call it 'Blue Cinema' but it sounds a little raunchy. It's on the table...will probably happen a few times throughout the year. Just gauging the interest. If it's given the green light - what other games/Carlton players would you like to see?

Martello went on to become one of Harry "Big H" Beitzel's around the groundsmen.
...like it was yesterday! Was it against the Saints??
