So did Brad Pearce.
I heard he was unstoppable after the '95 GF.

I fondly remember the Hawks game at PP in 95 after we had lost our only 2 games for the year badly in successive weeks.I remember a 3rd quarter against Hawthorn in '82 at Princes Park. 8 goals in the first 11 minutes of the quarter put the game to bed (Ashman got 3 of them). Of course later in the year we followed this up with an 11 goal 3rd quarter against the Hawks in the QF (Harmes kicked 4 of them, including an absolute gem from the right hand forward pocket at the Punt Rd end of the MCG).
Why didn't Frosty Miller ever get a VFL gig? Did he try out with anyone?
He played with us in the '60s. I think he kicked 6 on debut for us. He was relatively slow though & didn't cement a spot in the team. Why didn't Frosty Miller ever get a VFL gig? Did he try out with anyone?

95 was a good year... Got back from meeting my deadbeat dad in the UK and got told by my mum that me and the step father were heading to Subi thanks to her winning a couple of tickets to the wet toast vs Carlton game. Was a bloody cracker up on the old grass section with rabid WCE supports all round. 1 point win over them at the old house of pain was special.I fondly remember the Hawks game at PP in 95 after we had lost our only 2 games for the year badly in successive weeks.
Smashed them from the first bounce, think we had 8 or 9 on the board in the first quarter and The Cranium had 3 or 4 of them, won by 102 points that day.![]()
Great game, poor old Bluey McKenna would have to take our word for it though, Big Earl got him with one of the biggest and fairest hits I have ever seen.95 was a good year... Will never forget his performance against Collingwood in his first game for us, 3 goals BOG and also his game against the Crows at PP when he kicked 7 goals straight.Matt Clape

The second game vs. Essenscum in 97'/98' when Harry had to retire for Porter to get elevated to play. Porter killed it and ended up winning by 72 points

I was there also, a big blue started after Jezza went down and Wow Jones had his jumper ripped off. In fact I reckon I may even be in that picture.View attachment 32958
Also gotta say for all those who think the Milburn hit on SOS was big it was nothing compared to this! I was at PP this day and thought the place was gonna explode. Still PP's most infamous day for mine!

I reckon Magro was about 3 feet off the ground when he hit him. Also how much has the footy attitude changed, just watched the You Tube clip of it. Peter Landy states 'it was a very solid hit but I am sure it was accidental!!'
If that happened today it would be a 10 weeker!!![]()
Woman should have banned from all games with language like that. Shame...The crowd went feral.
We used to sit in the Pratt Stand and it was right in front of us. Ugly scenes followed including my dear Mum standing up and calling him an animal!![]()
