The second game vs. Essenscum in 97'/98' when Harry had to retire for Porter to get elevated to play. Porter killed it and ended up winning by 72 points
It was 1997, his debut, my birthday, terrific day for both of us
I remember him absolutely dominating against Collingwood after we fell behind early, he was sent to the goal square and we started bombing it in to him, I reckon he took half a dozen contested marks in the space of a quarter and a half as we reeled in a big deficit (about 7 goals) to hit the front early in Q4, but we couldn't hold on. I'm sure Porter got the 3 Brownlow votes that day though, and well deserved too.
