I'm stuck with NoK anyway as I got him last week.
Considering how many games Wright has got you would think NoK can't be too far on the outer.

Does the name Beau Muston ring any bells
Yeah I got burnt by Muston last year and at this stage it looks like JKT is going to repeat the pain.
That said, you win some and lose some ... there were some that thought Pods wouldn't play many games or score consistently well and look what he has done.
I'll be watching Gysberts with interest this weekend and then do my best to judge whether he is likely to be best 22 or not for the rest of the season.

It will be interesting to see how he is used. With Scully and Trengove back he may not get as many minutes through the guts.

Are there any defender downgrade options on the horizon if Heath gets dropped?
I need to get rid of Kennelly before he comes back and his price starts dropping. I want to downgrade him. What should I do?

I'd wait to see how he goes this weekend, but his JS for the year isn't all that great. With Vince to still come back, he'll need a decent performance this week to stay for a while. I love the way he goes about it, but the games we are getting into him this year is a bonus IMO, next year is when he'll start to make his mark.
I got Henderson last week to use as a DP switch with Phil Davis between BACK/FWDs.

ppl are getting him in because he has dual position. if you have 1 bench cover in your mids and forwards and have a DP in each position it can be handy to have a cheap (77k) player as the 2nd bench option and swap him between mids and forwards as needed for cover. May or may not work out well.

Brad Sewell at $329k is the biggest bargain in the mids at the moment.

No but seriously what happened to all the 1/2 gamers. This is starting to get rediculous. Last year a heap of freo guys came out this time, amoung a but load of mids too that I can remember. Think we're %*$&ed.

Wait wat. So I could, for in?tance play Goddard in the midfield? How do I do this?
Also, any good options in the forward line at the moment? I jumped on Jaensch & O'Keefe, but it looks like they'll both now be getting minimal game time. I effectively have no forward cover, any ideas?

You could play Goddard in the mids if you have a corresponding MID/DEF DP player to swap him with.
Fwd options are minimal at the moment, as much as McNeil has been hyped up, he hasn't even been named and we don't know really how close he is to selection. I will wait til I see his name on a team sheet before getting him in.
My bench fwds are Fyfe and Peterson who I got in early so I'm covered nicely.

McNeil is a Mid/Fwd, so you would need to pair him with another Mid/Fwd. As an example, I have McNeil on my bench in the mids with Ziebell on the bench in the Forwards ... if I need extra cover in the mids, I swap them over and Ziebell plays in the mids and McNeil becomes my 9th Forward (have Gumby as 8th). I also have Goodes in the Mids and Pavlich, Didak, O'Keefe and Higgins in the Forwards so any of these can be switched around if necessary.

I've said this on other boards and I'll say it again. You don't get rookies from our team for fantasy footy (other than Pods, who I don't consider a rookie), you just don't. Bomber will play our best 22 when fit and all the kids will go. So the taylor hunt's, hogan's, west's, simpson's etc, will only be in for as long as that and then that's it. And considering Mooney and Scarlett will be back for round 13, along with corey and ottens (if not round 13, round 14), there's no point getting our rookies. Look to clubs with less strong lists where rookies can keep their spots.

Be good to pair with a fwd/def in the fwds. Ideally it would be nice if there were some rookie F8 options about to come through with JS, but it doesn't look like there's any atm.
