It is cute watching Dr DT bragging about his ranking in the first few weeks. It will be wonderful watching him at the end of the season and wondering where all those 24 trades went.

m0nty probably knows more about DT than anyone on these boards. He picks players from left field because that's how he likes to play. I'm sure that if he decided to go down the conventional path, he would be more than capable of finishing in the top couple of hundred coaches. I'm not sure how many matches m0nty watches each round, but I'd guess that it would be most of them - sometimes too much knowledge can be someone's downfall.
Dr Dream Team is a moron who probably ghosted through the BF DT boards in the preseason and/or looked at Warnie's DT cheat sheet to choose his starting side. He's given his trades so far no thought, and his ranking will keep spiralling downwards. The stupid thing is that he actually had a very good start, and if he'd used his pea-sized brain a little more, he could be in a very solid position at the moment.

I pick uniques. They just have to be guns or cheap rookies.
M0nty picks midpriced uniques. If you don't get these right they will hurt you and M0nty doesn't get many right.
That's his choice to play it that way but with his poor trading I wouldn't have him anywhere near being an elite DTer.

I respect m0nty for what he has done with his site, and for the development of fantasy football sites and media in general, but to say he knows more about "everyone" on this board because he has fanfooty is just laughable.

Monty is a pathetic Dream teamer lets be honest.
However his site is superb and i use it all the time. DT Stats certainly rivalling it as the chat is way better and also a better lay out. The info from the icons is really important though and certainly a tool i use to help with trades. His breakevens also tend to be a mile off compared to DT stats.

11000 is pathetic
around 3000. Still 19 rounds to go which is basically a full season, 2 extra rounds to catch points up this year. The marathon becomes a tour de france this year.

Elitist? I think you'll struggle to find anyone, anywhere, who takes DT seriously that would not regard 11K as poor, not matter what stage of the season.
You have to remember at least half are just causal (at most) DT'ers, people with two teams, or Dr DT and the like.
^^^ If this guy isn't DWD under yet another pseudonym, I'd be very surprised.

Don't be facetious. What I'm saying is that if m0nty tried, he could do much better and I'm suggesting that he probably knows more about all the lesser known players than we do because he watches so much footy.
His "problem" is that he doesn't want to follow the group think and deliberately chooses different players. This is obviously a much higher risk strategy and it doesn't pay off.
