"Somehow I pulled myself off the canvas and scored 1901. A below-par score, but this was a horror week. How did everyone go? Anyone happy?"

Arogant much? 1900 is a great score this week. I'm stoked with my 1907

After trading-in Cyril Rioli and holding him for exactly two weeks before trading him out (bye plus hamstring injury concerns), I wonder if the Doc will deliver a similar fate to Shaun Higgins who he brought in just a week or two ago? Higgins-->Fyfe or Chapman? He's fun to watch.

He is maintaining his ranking because he is jumping from one good premium to the next. The main issues will occur in the next week weeks. When many of the better coaches will be upgrading their rookies to premiums. Each sideways trade potentially costs him $100,000+ in upgrade money.

Just took a look and he is on 19 trades so he has used 5 which isn't many less than other sides around here. He also has a solid base of 160k in the bank

His trades have been

Before RD 3: Isac Smith -> Tom Liberatore (Solid)
Before RD 4: Mathew Boyd -> Jobe Watson (Poor)
Before RD 4: Nick Riewoldt ->Cyrol Rioli (Poor)
Before RD 5: Brad Green -> Shaun Higgings (Poor)
Before RD 6: Cyril Rioli -> Jack Riewoldt (Poor)

He has a little over 160k in the bank so i reakon this week he will probably go Dane Swan -> Chappy or something like that

At the end of the year he is going to struggle when he only has 12/13/14/15 keepers when everyone else has atleast 22

Green -> higgins is far from a poor trade. Considering Higgins is avg 100, and green is 70, and is continously dropping in price, I would say its a fair trade.

he can probably justify 1 sideways trade, but 4 of them

I look forward to passing him in the rankings, as does everyone else from bigfooty.

Well after he's already made 2 trades of guns to other guns it is not a great option. I can definitely see the reasoning behind it, Higgins had had his bye and he was facing a zero due to Green and Higgins was playing well. Still, after 2 sideways trades, trading to an injury prone forward who isnt undervalued by that much (compared to what some guns will be later on e.g Didak, J.Roo) probably isnt the best move.

So I think in isolation it is a pretty decent trade but combined with his other sideways trades prior to it, it IMO wasn't the right move to make. He will now need a great run with injury, to either get 22 guns or avoid zeros in the second half of the season. If he continues to trade like he is now for the entire season, he will crash and burn, no disputing that.

EDIT: Am about 20 points behind him i think. Will pass very soon but probably not in the next 2 weeks with Pendles + Swan and then Curnow + Gibbs + Scotland with byes and at this stage no planned upgrades.

Yea I see your point guys. Probably singerly at that point in time wasn't to bad an idea, and thats what I was kinda referring to. But yea, in conjuction with more continous sideways trades, makes it questionable.

I think there is an argument to say his sideways trade of Roo to Rioli was inspired with Roos preformances. Could then argue that Rioli to Jumping Jack is replacing an injury.

Don't like the sideway trade to Higgins, not because of getting rid of Green but Higgins is too risk for that sort of trade. Needed to go top of the tree to guys like Pav (understand the bye) and Goodes (Okay, not great performance this week).

The sideways of Boyd is just unexplainable this early in the season!

Loving the Doc's latest market watch. Don't waste a trade on Andy Otten gaiz, he's averaging 65 and he might only miss 3 weeks, he's a keeper! On the other hand, if Matthew Boyd is going to miss one week, get him the **** out of your side. And if Riewoldt has a bad game, jump off of him too.

I could not stop laughing :D:D:D

Hopefully somebody in the bigfooty community get's the pleasure of knocking this guy out in the eliminator.

Lol yer hate fact that Im adding to his hits on his page every week but cant help to check it out for a bit of a laugh.. :D

That Boyd missing a freaking game coz of this "bye" thing.. how dare he? Nope, even his 162pts afterward isnt enough for me to forgive him!

And yet the funny thing is, I think he still thinks his team is genuinely good and hes going great guns.. cant wait till he finally realizes halfway through with 5 trades left that he's screwed!
At the moment still enjoying the cocky tone he has every week when he has a wank over his team and his "brilliant" strategies..

His team is ranked well ahead of many here, so he can't be doing that bad. I think it will fall in a screaming heap too, but credit where credit is due. Unless... actually that should probably say 'Until', you are beating him then it's a bit rich to say how crap his team is.
