Apparently Lance Armstrong is one of the very few people in the world to complete the test. I think it goes up to level 21!!

(I never even knew that it ended at some point. Thought it just kept going until there is no one left!)

Fair effort by Lance! Be bloody hard to turn the bike and get started back in the other direction constantly wouldn't it.....

nah. the person is right. I ran a 16.2 beep test and whilst i threw up afterwards I think with some training I could get up to level 17. I'm not saying its easy as my grand father won the 800m at the stawell gift so its obvioulsy in my blood but 15.8 is nothing special.

You've just gone a little too far now noone believes you

don't know if its been mentioned but there are different versions of the beep test. The AIS one is harder than the ones done in college and high schools

Like I said.. unless your in a national sports team or a marathon runner, your not going to get over 15. The most fit guys in my school would get just over 13 and some of them are currently listed in the AFL. So unless your a professional sportsman, its not going to happen.

I've never seen anyone go over 15.. so i assume its insane. I wonder what the world record is.

It's more common than you think.

Any claim of anyone doing above 19, except by Jesus Christ himself, is highly suspect.

There are no verified claims of Steve Monagetti doing a 19. Frankly, given the nature of the run, I would think a middle distance, and not a long distance, runner is much more likely to have better scores. You really have to have a very good turn of speed, combined with stamina, once you get above 14 6 or so. In other words Mona might have the stamina but I doubt he has the speed.

Once you reach into the 15's, especially for the age of the draft campee invitees, you really are looking at a top-notch athlete; a superb runner with outstanding potential.

Lol i think jesus would get about nothing cuz he'd be flying and gym teachers consider than as cheating ;)

Did he do it on his bike?

does anyone know where you can find out where each person is expected to go (as in what pick). Im good friends with the Garletts and would be interested in knowing where/when cruize will go.

Cruize garlett is at the draft camp. Im friends with his family and was wondering where/when he will get picked in the draft. . . if he does.

I've been above 15 for a beep test

but I was playing 1st Div Touch* (often with few or no reserves) and riding my bike around 800 - 1000km / week.

I was in very impressive condition.

Cyril Rioli is Cyril (jnr) Rioli's son. Jnr was a very good footballer, too small for the VFL/AFL but a fantastic football brain, great tackler and played close to 300 games for St Mary's in Darwin

*touch footy for those that don't know it is played on a field 75m long and about 40M wide. Top level touch is 6 a side and in the six touches most sides can make that whole distance. 2 halves of 25 mins. each team ends up with the ball about 15 times a half.

The defence is up and back, up and back at a really huge speed. Attack is easier but still a pretty full power. 25 mins of that will make you fit, a whole game is very tiring.

Doing a beep test after playing touch for a few years is nothing you haven't done before.
