Saturday, October 11 -- South Australian state screening session, SA Institute of Sport.

Obviously the big ones here are Nov 29 and the trade week from oct 6 -10. There's nothing left for Carlton fans to do now except wait and hope for another draft day miracle. Bring on Hurley!!

Not for me. I'll be conducting some of the testing at the draft camp. Looking forward to a pretty good group to come through too. After watching a few groups go through it's nice on draft day to hear the blues call out Murphy, Gibbs, Kreuzer and know that there's a lot more to these guys than the hype surrounding them.

Does that mean that Hackland and Saddington need be listed by Oct 31?

Happy to provide any and all details on those of interest. I'll be dealing with repeat sprints, beep test, agility testing, straight sprint testing and vertical leap. Will also be sticking my head in on the skills session and possibly the time trials.

The interesting thing about draft camp is that it gives you an idea of the blokes who can handle pressure early on. Guys with those qualities will usually lift themselves up a number of spots in the draft order

I used to work for the AFL in NSW and then I came to Canberra to work in the Sports Science section of the AIS. Happily for me those two passions come together when the draft camp comes to town.
