Prismall will be decent and at the price we got him is a good get, I like the bloke but he is not a A Grade mid, does not mean he is bad though. As ant has said the FB position is becoming less of a stand in the goalsquare and defend. Ryder fits the athletic FB mould. If we draft Lisle he can play CHB. We need a midfielder with our pick 5. Rich, Swift, Sidebottom, Ziebell. Any of them would add class to our midfield. Every premiership side has a number of A Class mids, usually more than 2-3.

I am actually not as shocked as some, hartlett would suit Subiaco a bit more.
Yeah harvey stated early inthe peace that he wanted fast midfielders and hartlett is certainly your classic midfielder. Thats where hill may come into it being a local he was wa's best player inthe carnival and draft camp was terrific so he's got reason to be hyped up .I stated oin the brissie board that it's getting pretty busy in the top eight now .
look at a few scenarios and it could look diifferent to what we all think . And nothing would surprise.
it could go .
1 watts 2 nata 3 hill 4hartlet 5 rich 6vickery 7hurley 8 sidebottom 9 ziebell 10 .swift
or any combination there of very busy this year.
I reckon he might surprise you! (not only you)
He would walk into our best side. Not sure how good hooker will be, needs some development, same with Daniher, could be a star, could be a dud, Pears looks ok, but i think more as a HBF rather than KP. Ryder is better from Half Back, I think he gets lost from the goal square. Could be something he learns, but Hurley for me, would be a super aquisition as a potential full back, especially if he can develop for a year under Dustin.
If Rich is available at 5, it would be a obvious choice i would think, but i dont think that it will be a decision rushed, especially as the northern knights team manager has informed me that Dodoro has been seen as a regular nearly every week. (as well as a few carlton blokes)
Hey people.
Just quietly, I would love to see him in Bombers colours if not WC ones.

Keen to do a trade in 2 years?![]()

I heard that.PLEASE

Rich's arms and head do look out of proportion for his height.I guess his small arms aren't slowing him down![]()

Rich had the smallest hand span measured at the draft camp — 19.2 centimetres. He also had the shortest arms of all players tested at the camp and state screening sessions — 76.1.

Emma Quayle said:Hi Nathan. Rich is a chance of slipping but I'm not convinced Essendon would choose him even if there. I think they will choose from Yarran, Hurley and Sidebottom at this stage. At the moment they'd be trying to suss out which players will be there at their second pick - if they suspect there will be an abundance of key backs left, they might go a smaller player earlier although really, at No. 5, you'd be trying just to pick the best one there. If Dan does slip, then I can't see him getting past Carlton at No. 6 now.
I'd be pretty disappointed if we did pass up on Rich for a guy like Sidebottom who albeit is very good is slower than Rich and has a less penetrating kick but a bigger engine.
Where did you get that quote from RIG?

You shouldn't have a cheap laugh at this.![]()
i had a read.. surely she's having a laugh thinking that Rich will slide to 9? like many have said, i'd be very confused if we overlooked Rich if he was available, especially if it were for a Yarran or Hill instead.
