I have never seen a group of recruiters look more clueless than Richmond's are right now. It really looks like they are just stalling for time as they have no clue what to do next.
Got a well balanced list. No immediate pressing needs besides a Key Defender (Hugh Beasley likely to be rookied.) Can afford to take punts. And the two players we picked are players who would slot nicely into our fast moving, pressure game plan.

Gold Coast: “Jack Martin is worth more than a mid second round pick”

Also Gold Coast: “Pick 11 for Pick 27? Not bad.
Pick 11 is Gold coast academy player Alex Davies who played in this year u17 Pre GF games , GC can pre listed him next year without the need to use pick to match same with Darwin zone, so next year GCS don't really need to draft that many players in actual draft.

Is the logic that they’re banking on that 2020 pick ending up a fair bit later after the father-son / NGA shifts are factored in?

Doesn’t seem great at first blush, though. Good business for the Cats.
Would end up as Pick 15 at worst I’d think.

They’re trying to get an extra year of development in, but I’m not sure you give up a first round pick for Sharp.

Given how much time Richmond were taking though it does not look like they were confident with the bids they made. You could be right though.

Rosas is on the rookie list I think. :)
Ok that would make sense. Thought I missed someone getting delisted haha.

Surprised that that is how the system works for the NT zone. Thought they got them straight onto the senior list but straight onto the rookie list looks like an even bigger advantage.

I know. Astounding how entitled one group of supporters can be.
Genuinely not sure what you're on about, the vast majority of us are pretty stoked with our draft. If you check out our board you'll see most of us agree Carlton have done nothing wrong and if anything we should have been better prepared for a bid in that range.

anyway, I'll leave you to your trolling. peace :rainbow:
