Did he do the combine? Whats his speed like? Never heard of him lol do you rate him?
Quick without being lightning. Averaged 27.6 disposals at WAFL Colts level as the barest of overagers.

He didn't 'top 10' anything, but he was invited, so the interest is there.

I like him, but late.

father son?
He's related to Phil I just keep forgetting how.

I think I tweeted he was his son, but in retrospect I'm pretty sure that's wrong.

he def isnt his son. from what i re-call and i could be wrong, i dont think there is any relation. maybe nephew...

Just out of interest Barrels, what did you think about Knightmare not including
Gresham in his best fifteen players from the 2015 Draft a few weeks back? :)
Probably about as highly as his Acres to Kerridge comparison.

If you havent already do yourself a favour and listen to Tony Elshaugh's interview on The Road to the Draft Podcast.

Is it any wonder half the AFL players want to come to the Saints now, with Trout running our list what a terrific and inspiringly grounded and wonderful man. People have said it but in my 52 years of folllowing the Saints I have never felt more confident with the staff we have in the key positions of attaining sucess in the near future.

Amett Baines is an absolute gem, Finnis is a brilliant CEO and Richo is a great people person and becoming brilliant. Obviuosly there are 100 other staff members behind the scenes but the persons above set the standards and they are all brilliant in their own right!

Im excited Go Saints!

Who are we delisting btw ??

I've got it down to 5 Fisher/Lee Shenton Murdoch Delaney Curran

Sorry if wrong thread to bring it up being draft thread.

I Would dance a jig if Logue was available at 23 aka Goddard.

Knightmare knows his stuff, but that comparison still haunts me. It's like somebody telling you that your new supermodel girlfriend looks like Gina Rinehart.

I suspect he watches more junior footy than AFL.

Instead of admitting when he doesn't know something he guesses....campaigner

He's a goose.

He lost me when he did his Phantom a few years back & was comparing top 20 picks to no name GOPs playing Collingwood reserves.

He's promoted himself well to get the ESPN gig but just another social media self promoter who isn't working in the industry that he supposedly is an expert in.

He actually had Blake in his power rankings tat 4. He then seemed to drop him like a hot potato once he started. He was one of the few to have Bont top 10 so he's not an idiot. He came on here and admitted he hadn't kept up his watch on him but wasn't overly impressed early and then gave him a big down grade. Was pretty happy to be corrected and said Saints fans would know more.

Trout's interview on afl draft podcast suggested that tall mids with pace and/or strong kicking skills would be our target, unless someone drifts more than 5 spots from their rankings.

So, in my view, Zac Fisher is ruled out for pick 23, unless Trout rates him as a top 15-18 pick.

Yeah, I think he does a pretty good job at analysing draftee potential (hopefully my post didn't suggest otherwise).

His assessment of Francis last year was spot on.

What you do know is that someone at the saints last year was letting on that Matho was all tied up with our first pick. Take what he says publicly with a huge grain of salt. If he says a tall fast mid we are probably eyeing off a small forward or a mid sized defender.

In all honesty I'd only take Hopper, Mills, Schache and Weitering over Gresh.

I like Parish as well but the boy is a 30c soft serve cone.

I reckon he watches a heap of junior footy so won't be as strong on the AFL kids and probably just forgot about him. If he had played at the Pies he would be all over him. Otherwise he's just grabbed champion data stats and looked who had the most stats from the 2015 draftees. I really don't mind all our kids avoiding hype. It will be easier to keep hold of them in a very fluid player trade market if they aren't all over the media. No club is going to pay huge dollars for low profile players.

He either has a serious anti St Kilda bias or doesn't watch us at all, he reckons these blokes are all better than anyone on our list born in 1994 or later
