I don't think he wins enough ball to be realistically compared to Dustin Martin.
He has the same attributes as dustin Martin just not as much pill as him ATM look at Seb Ross he averaged 12, 14 disposals for his first what 4-5 years then averages 26. If spp is made of the right stuff he will definitely be a boom. It's the recruiting team think he's made of the right stuff they will take him 100% linsday Gilbee will teach him how to kick too

If all he needs is a tank to improve his ball winning abilities, then count me in.

We might take him, who knows, but I fear his kicking mechanics are beyond repair.

To be fair the person in you're avatar is a shit kick on his day..

I was more thinking in terms of a pick in the 20's that can't kick to save his life.
Did you watch the Judd v Oloughlin game?

SPP hardly missed a target by foot

I did, but I don't really remember him being overly influential. Did he get many touches? I remember being pretty impressed with Shai Bolton, if he's around our pick I would be happy with him.
He got 18 touches & was named in the best players

Yeah Bolton looks so classy

Bolton and Florent looked like the 2 most comfortable and influential on the wing in that game. Plenty of run, good reading of the play, good kicks. Florent a class above Bolton and more consistent from what I've seen but plenty to like in Bolton.

Yeah Taranto looked the goods aswell

I'm thinking a realistic haul for 23 & 36 will be SPP & Fisher, I wouldn't be disappointed with that

Sandra, but roughly BPA and gives us pace and dynamism in the midfield.

I'd rather someone with better disposal and greater class, but I can see the reasoning behind it.

I may be in the minority, but I don't particularly care for Fisher.

Don't dislike him, but at 175cm 61kg he reminds me a bit of Honeychurch at the Dogs; willing and able, but simply too small to be effective in the same way at AFL level.

Honeychurch is trying to reinvent himself as a small forward to break into the Seniors, and Fisher hasn't showed himself to be a significant goal threat.

He doesn't have the evasiveness of a Gresh either.
He has performed pretty well in the WAFL.

I have a bad feeling about Bolton.
Not only does he side with the Lanister's but he's doing "Blue Steel" in his AFL draft photo.

I'm aware, fact is that's the WAFL. Tom Lee and Beau Maister were both guns at that level.

The reality is he will likely struggle at league level to play effectively the way he naturally does at his size. He needs to adapt.

What do people think of KM's idea that StKilda would bid on , and get a half back flanker "Cumming" that they can't be bothered with?

At least we can't say KM is afraid to back himself.
I haven't seen anyone else predict Florent or Cox as early as he has, or Battle and Rotham as late.
He also seems to list a few guys who aren't on other peoples radar.

Sam Fisher

His agility and power on the twist and turn, alongside what appears a great goal sense and finishing ability, is quite appealing. Reminds me a little of DeGoey's highlights from his junior days. If he can get 3 metres on defenders on the semi circle, be interesting to see what an AFL pre-season can do for him...

We should be able to get him at 61.
