All the Sandy kids getting their tyres pumped up in the media now. FML, remember when Florent and Scrimshaw and even Taranto were considered picks outside the top 10? Now they're all gonna go top 15 probably. :'(

Do Essendon supporters realise their midfield is mediocre , as are the rucks feeding it to them. Essendon are OK in other positions , but games are won or lost in the midfield. Can someone more technically gifted , do up a picture of Lance Armstrong in an Essendon jumper please ?

Any kids in our Zone worth us bidding on?
Sandringham should have been part of our zone anyway IMO.
Ari Sakeson .... if he's not drafted, particularly if the Swans decide not to draft him given their interest.

Otherwise these guys from the Sandy Dragons may be considered:
Hamish Brayshaw
Corey Lyons
Goy Lok
Lachlan Filipovic
Harrison Burt
Josh Trew
Reuben Hayward
Darcy James

Goy Lok would likely come at a discount similar to the current bidding system as he's from a non-English speaking background.

Barclay Miller will play for the Dragons next year and IIRC is currently on a scholarship with us anyway as an international rookie with a basketball background, as does Mitch McCarthy who we've nominated as an indigenous rookie.

Baker-Thomas is in much the same boat although he plays for Sandy Zebras and is over 18.

Yes his form at the champs was very good he showed his potential and ability.
Has very good link up and run plus ability to excecute skills at pace
I have been watching the U18 WA side for a while now, in terms of recent draftees i'd say he's a poor mans Hardisty. Hardisty was a late first round rookie list prospect who was delisted after 1 year on the list last year by hawthorn

I will be very surprised if he's picked up in the first three rounds of the main draft. He could end up drafted in the main draft purely due to the amount of spots some teams need to fill in the back end of the draft (i.e. hawthorn start at pick 88), which is different to previous years

But i reckon if his name wasnt narkle, he wouldnt even come up on this board

the group activity whereby everyone sits around discussing the need to “do something” but nothing actually happens

With the expection of hoping for a slider, Logue, Veneables and Berry head that list, I really like the sound of Villis or Rotham as fast outside mids, then Brennan Cox is really the only tall who I think is mobile enough to suit our needs.

I'm starting to warm to Cedric cox at our first pick. Ticks a lot of boxes that we need but I would only take him if there is genuine scope for him to play on a wing. Quick. Fairly good skills. And a bit of X factor. Could be a bit of a bust or boom type of risk. If he pays off could turn out one of the best in the draft. What's everyone's thoughts on him
