Probably not on our radar if we go with the two live picks, but a deadly peg, speed, and a fluid mover on the outside with a few tricks up the sleeve.

Villis has a bit of an Eli Templeton feel to him. Perhaps an upgrade on our departing friend, but I have concerns about his ball-winning abilities at AFL level.

Draft edition of Inside Football is now out, do yourself a favour a grab it.

Some snippets;
- Begley is 185.5cm 96kg. Big boy.
- Powell-Pepper a strong 186.5cm 90kg.
- Berry comes in at 191cm 81.8kg.
- Witherden is 186cm 80kg.
- Ridley tall at 192cm 79.7kg.
- Narkle 180cm 77.8kg.
- McLarty, the forgotten man, 196.8cm 90.9kg.
How about Rotham?

With our original pick it is unlikely that any of the following players would have been available to us.
McLuggage, McGrath, Bowes, Brody, Ainsworth, Taranto, Perryman, English, Scrimshaw.

So far I have not seen a serious phantom where any of theses players are available to us:
Petrovski-Seton, Scheer, Marshall, Setterfield , Logue, Simpkin, Florent, Venables.
There would have to be some serious Carlton/Boekhorst type crap happening ( in multiple teams ) to get one.

It seems likely that 7 of :
Gallucci ,Berry, Rotham, Hayward, Battle , Bolton
Kerr, Witherden, Scharenburg, Villa, Ridley, C Cox, Powell-Pepper.

Will be available at our pick. ( First line less likely ).

I reckon that Clarke will still be around our pick potentially too.

Is Rotham the same type of player we already have in Roberton and Brandon White ?

191.2cm 77.4kg.

Listed strengths are kicking and athleticism. Issues are endurance, strength and contested ball.

I loved him ever since that big mark he took before crashing to earth. It reminded me of Goddard in the GF so now imagine him playing that Goddard role across half back and probably a similar size. I don't think he gets enough ball to be a mid. He is at worst a Tom Simpkin at best Brendan Goddard but probably most likely Andreas Everett type of jack of all trades master of none type.

Hilarious that there are decimal places on the weights. How is it possible to measure someone's weight that accurately? If they ate a steak for lunch they'll be 500 grams heavier! Or if they have a big shit they'll lose 500 grams! Ridiculous use of numbers.

Pretty sure they're done with a laser. Not the old ruler on the side of the fridge!

Who and what is Mclarty barrels and are we after one
... and if I may add two other Oakleigh Chargers, the first another swingman like McLarty ....

Nick Larkey: A lack of talls in defence for Calder saw Larkey collect the ball at will. Has the height and size, but is built like a stick. Looks better suited forward and through the ruck than in defence.
A versatile tall, had a successful national championships as a forward and a defender. Kicked three last-quarter goals against the Northern Knights ...”

.... and a fast skilful outside mid (who Bishop has us taking 4th round) ...

Louis Cunningham: "A really nice left footer across half back for the Chargers. Was strong in their win against highly rated Sandringham a few weeks back and looked to continue on from that effort. 18 disposals and 10 marks against the Cannons as he ran free at will across their forward line. An elite left-footer ....”

.... could we be after one of them @61 ?

Oakleigh was well served for talls having Jordan Ridley as well, and Taylin Duman isn't short either.

Measuring weights with a laser would be impressive to see.

SPP and Bolton were gone by our pick but ideally one of them are still there by our pick. looking at Knightmare and bishops phantom draft we could take SPP or Florent with Bolton around the pick too. It seems SPP is a bit of a bolter at this stage so he might be gone by our pick but hopefully Florent or Bolton are still there. I think we need run with our pick so Bolton Florent or SPP are hopefully there for our first round pick.

Try and compare Bishop's phantom from 2015 vs KM's 2015 phantom vs actual draft.

Bishop's running a very high quality phantom!

Logue suggests in a mini-interview that they all measured a bit short at the Combine.
So Begley is Petracca-size....?

Could be handy ;)

If he has a first years as good as Mathieson just had, I think we'd all be pretty happy. Can't see him sliding to 23 though unfortunately.

Yeah that's what I mean. Everyone on here wants him but I feel like we'll just miss out.

Don't mean to be a KJ but If SPP can't kick then I don't think we'll draft him. At most we've drafted one iffy kick since 2013, the rest have been extremely good in that area. Apart from Wright you could go all the way back to 2011 with Ross, Newnes and Webster.

I'd love another burst out of stoppage player to go with Steven but not if they're going to butcher it straight after.

I am strongly with the belief that if they can't kick we shouldn't draft them although I wouldn't be against taking SPP as even if his kicking doesn't improve I could see him being an upgrade on Wright as the maniac pressure forward role. Then there's the chance his kicking improves and we have a genuine line breaking bull.

I see a bit of dangerfeild in his kicking, burst open a pack and kick long. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, obviously his kicking for goal isn't a issue.

Having watched him a few times, I think it may be a case off him bursting too quickly and his composure may be off timing wise. Jack Steven used to have this problem. Good chance that once he gets up to speed with tempo , this can be ironed out. His kicking technique doesn't look anywhere near as flawed as Wright.
