It's an interesting one. Especially if Gresh's tank is an issue (and for Paddy to beat you in a time trial it probably has to be!) we could do a hell of a lot worse than to keep adding to our midfield so that we can keep Gresh almost exclusively forward. Just reminded me so much of Milne at times this year with that incredible footwork and his smarts around goal.
Not so much an issue with Gresham's tank.just doesn't work hard enough on the track

What I'd like:
23: Florent/Witherden/Powell Pepper

36: Mutch/Begley/B.Cox

61: Z.Fisher/L.Bunker/E Himmelberg

Yes gone wide also - very hard to pick this year

23 - Berry, Powell-Pepper, Florent..... (if any of them available)
Brad Scheer (bid)

36 - Scharenberg, Begley, Allison (bid)
Clarke & Graham

60 - Matt Guelfi, Sam Walker. Parfitt & Romensky

Rookies - McCarthy, Sziller & O'Shea

Knightmare got on McGrath at number 1 and Taranto at 2 well before anyone. Kid is a clairvoyant.

I reckon at least a month ago they said on radio it was set in stone that the Cheats who shouldn't have pick one were totally into Mc Grath more than Luggage. Apparently he played under Tony Shaw at Brighton Grammar or where ever he coaches and he's obsessed to the point where he has told the club he's the next superstar with an all round game. Bombers were already supposedly then into him then. Hope he's the biggest spud ever just so the flogs don't get rewarded for their corruption.

It's ludicrous they have pick one. Quite a shit feeling knowing a legit kid who will lead his club with amazing spirit for 15 years is being gobbled up by a cesspool cult.

True. Every year, every club claims they had a win and picked up somebody they really really wanted.
But 6 months later reality sinks in for Richmond & Carlton:p

The big problem with Essendon is that they dragged it out for so long the AFL got sick of waiting and handed down their loss of draft picks penalty.

It should have been concurrent with the player penalties, which would have made their early picks from not playing their banned players vanish in a puff of smoke.

But now, because they already had draft picks stripped from them, there is no justification for getting penalized again.

The circle jerkers in the AFL community had already sat around and convinced themselves that no players could possibly be banned.
This was still the prevalent thought at this time last year.
