I've said it before, but bloody hell Todd Marshall is skinny! Not just skinny, but he also has seriously narrow shoulders, so I struggle to see him bulking up much throughout his career, so it will be interesting to see where he goes. I guess Rooey was very skinny when he was drafted, so it will come down to how much talent he has.

Roo always had a decent V frame & was built like a young swimmer. Marshell has a rig like Jarrad Grant.

Apparently similar to his brother Ryan at North.

From AFL Draft Central: At 187cm, the inside midfielder has dominated at TAC Cup level this season, averaging 28 disposals and eight tackles in his four games. Clarke is a strong player in the midfield where he tackles hard to win the ball and propels it forward on his left foot. Although his left foot isn’t elite, it is above average and he uses it well when looking for a target coming out of a stoppage. Clarke also can go forward and hit the scoreboard whilst has a superb tank giving him the ability to play on a wing.

Got plenty of attributes we're after. Kicking could be better. Been solid in the Championships too. May be better available at our first pick but surely he'd be in the mix.
I've seen them both play and from the little I saw, Ryan had more of a running, linebreaking game, but a worse kick (kicking action very suspect), whereas Dylan probably plays more of an inside game and isn't as quick, but is a better kick.

There's nothing wrong with someone having an "above average kick", which just doesn't happen to be "elite". From what I saw and heard of Ryan, his would be rated "below average", which is probably why he was available when he was in the draft. Would be surprised if Dylan lasts that long.

Might be around the same sort of range as Scharenberg, just a level below the likes of Venebles, McCluggage, SPS, McGrath and co. Is that type (inside, with a really strong tank and tackling game and a better than average left foot) that we could really do with.

Great win for the Allies, who kicked four goals in the final term to beat Vic Country by four points. Kobe Mutch terrific with 28 disposals.

FT #NABAFLU18s Allies 10.10 70 d #VicCountry 10.6 66.
Allies: Mutch 28d, Marshall 3gls.
VC: Brodie, Atley 21d Battle 4gls

Can I suggest Kobe Mutch (184cm, 75kg) might have just made his way onto our short list?
GWS won't need anymore mids after they get Setterfield and Perryman (who just won the Allies MVP for the carnival), and Macreadie's a defender.[/QUO

Unfortunately they will keep all 5 .

But they will release Steele , Marchbank ..probably Stewart , Barrett & trade Pickett .

Really like Jack Rolls, Jamie Hampton think someone will grab them.

Oh argh. ..love McGrath .... Vic Metro.. Outstanding just runs & runs both ways.

I would consider trading our two first rounders for a higher 1st round pick this year and lower 1st round pick next year.
Not worth it
This year a pick around 8 what we will have is a really good pick don't think it's worth going down to 4-5

Could be worth it if it meant we could get a Brodie, McCluggage, SPS, McGrath or Venebles type and if next year's draft is as good as it's meant to be you might get someone as good with pick 18 as you would with pick 12 in that one.

Think Todd will be an absolute gun reminds me so much of Allan Edwards (Richmond /pies ) so quick , nice kick
on both feet given right club development could be anything.

He's too small, we have enough short people. IMO Scrimshaw or Taranto are our picks if we keep it.
Agree they'd be in with a big chance. Love McGrath and you can bet Trout does too. (He's 180cms now and should be Robert Harvey's size before long.) Brodie and McCluggage are no-brainers but likely gone.

Venables seems to be improving his consistency and would almost certainly be in that conversation. I doubt we'd pass on Petrevski-Seton, but wouldn't be surprised if we passed on Ainsworth. There's 8.

If any of the "talls" like Macreadie, Rotham, Battle, Marshall, Kerr or English, or any of Perryman, Bowes, Setterfield, Berry, Scharenberg, Drew or Powell-Pepper go higher it will push one or more of those desirables our way.

There's 21 already.
