If venable luggage and McGrath are all gone by our 1st pick I'd be happy to settle for gallucci.

Would certainly add some speed and zip to our slow midfield.

I wasn't entirely sold on Gallucci before the Champs, and I'm bloody well not now. IMO he was really disappointing.

There's a few I'd have before him now.

EDIT: Clarke, Scrimshaw and Guelfi to name a few...

Maybe so, obviously not my first choice at our pick. Lets see how he goes for the rest of tge year.

Not over Suitcase IMO, but I certainly wouldn't be sad to have Dan.

In other news, my man Josh Begley pulled in 17 disposals - at a rough 58% eff., but it was a filthy day weather-wise - to go with 6 marks and 3 tackles in the middle and across half forward despite the Ranges being flogged by the Rays to the tune of 73 points. Top possession-winner for Eastern on the day.

Yep. Got a nice shoe on him and isn't slow either.

As for Simpkin; really not sure. First without it, but he's had to have further surgery to clear an infection in the broken leg.

No one knows how he'll come out of it yet.

SPS seems to dropping down a few peoples lists, most likely due to his injuries. I can't see him getting past Freo's pick but if he fell to us that would be amazing.

such a big unit! even though he is playing against kids I think he will still be a hard nut at afl level.

interesting to see he is only considered a late pick or rookie chance by most. I would happily take him with a third.

My Boy is Eastern's Josh Begley. Wasn't even in their initial squad then came in and whupped some arse.

As for PDs, don't do them anymore. The bidding gives me a headache.
