Tough pick between Marchbank and gws first or our first.
Just don't think we'll get that dynamic mid with the later pick.
Will we get that with pick 7 or 8 though? McLuggage, SPS and Brodie will more than likely be gone. The next best seem to be forward/mids or flankers.

We desperately need another mobile backman IMO and their seems to be similar quality at pick 15 than there is at 7.

I'd take Marchbank and Scharenberg over Vennables or McGrath I reckon.

If you check the TAC Cup Coaches votes you will find Brodie Romenoski 1st with 42 votes, 2nd is Zach Guthrie with 40, then 3rd is Josh Begley and James Gow with 37, 5th on 36 votes is Willem Drew, then equal 6th with 34 votes are four players, one of whom is McCluggage. Commen sense would suggest that if McCluggage is a top ten player, surely Romensky should be considered for the lst or 2nd round, but no appears to fancy him. At 189,cm he is a mid.def. As he will probably grow out to 191 or so he could make a good 3rd defender, that we will be looking for when Dempster and Fisher give it away.

Not for me; hasn't grabbed me like I hoped he would.

IMO; Taranto, Simpkin, Florent, maybe a leap at someone like SA's Villis or a bid on Setterfield...Witherden's around that mark if we think he can become a mid; at the moment he's a 186cm half back with very nice skills.

I reckon Bishop's more or less on the money. The flog.
Josh Rotham the other potential mid if we trade for a later first round pick.

From Knightmare ....

Several times he showed his cleanness at ground level, winning ground balls. At one point, Rotham even pushed through the midfield and proved he could win the ground ball which is an encouraging sign ....

At 192cm and boasting impressive athletic ability, Rotham is an appealing prospect to clubs and looms as a likely first-round choice. He offers excellent run from the back half, finds plenty of the football and also sticks to his role well and generally limits the influence of his direct opponent.

Some recruiters also believe Rotham has the scope to develop into a midfielder - potentially as a wingman where his running ability can be a weapon, or in the contest if he becomes a stronger contested-ball winner.

McCluggage has played 6 games to Romensky's 10 also

May be a handy pick up if he's still there at our third pick.

Scharenberg looks that later option who's a quality contested mid.
Don't really want Simpkin after drafting 2 outside mids we need more inside.
Would take March and Scharenberg
