Any background on your final two boys and draft range?
Sakeson is a 190cm utility who's played FB at APS level, but recently moved up to the wing for Sandy Dragons. Got 22 possies and 4 clearances. Quick and agile but kicking needs some fine tuning.

Duman is a 193cm running utility. Good disposal but quite outside for a tall and needs a few summers in the gym. Takes the game on.

First AFL Draft Central PD has gone live. Saints (me) took;

#9: Dan Venables - 186cm mid/fwd
#44: Josh Begley - 187cm fwd/mid
#62: Ari Sakeson - 190cm utility
#80: Taylin Duman - 193cm utility

Have at it troops; destroy.
Surprised Todd Marshall going #3
McGrath at 4 to the Suns i could see happening

FWIW I changed my mind above, but Curren into O'Kearney.

[That draft] would leave the U23s;

FB: Rice - Goddard - McKenzie
HB: Sakeson - Coughlan (r) - White
RK: Pierce - Gresham - Dunstan
CR: Freeman - Acres - Billings
HF: Begley - Membrey - Sinclair
FF: Lonie - McCartin - Venables
IC: Minchington Templeton Wright Duman
EM: O'Kearney (r) Payne (r) Murdoch Saunders (r)

That's a pretty dangerous forward line IMO.

Barrels, what's the tarantula's stats like & has he been playing many mid minutes in the TAC?
If you go back a few pages he's the 'Option 2' of my little nameless hypothetical, and yes he has.

If I had my time over again, I may well have taken Taranto, but Venables' 'big moment' ability swayed it. As an example, VM would not have beaten VC at Geelong without the chase, multiple tackles and strong-bodied 1%ers he committed to get the ball to Brown for the goal.

Not everything is about stats.

Cheers. Agree not everything is about stats however it's a strong part of decision making especially when investing a top 10 pick.

Tananto averaging 26 touches & a goal a game is far superior to Vennables output. I realise there's a few factors you've mentioned here & on Twitter. But still, picking Taranto ahead of Vennables is a no-brainer for me.
