I'm falling off Venables faster than an old scab.

You can see he's got the talent, the speed and the strength, but he did bugger all for most of the game (again) at the AGSV Grand Final.

He'll probably go before our pick in any event...
Let's just grab a Sandy boy!

Taranto
Scrimshaw
Florent

Or two of the three?

Joyce is 19, 193cm 88kg and the cousin of Essenscum premiership defender Kevin Walsh.

Connellan is 22, 188cm or 191cm depending on your source and lighting quick (2.78s 20mtr sprint; second fastest ever in Combine history). Does have a nasty leg break though.
Well that's a name from the past
Victoria's number 1 ruckman
Sheeds loved this bloke

if you break the other leg, and space them both a cm or so , it can fuse back taller , iv'e heard its a popular operation in Asia.
Not the femur either
yes I broke both .not a pleasant experience.
Plates and screws fix them up pretty quick these days .then remove 6 months later
The key is not to be close to the ankle.

Given that all the ITK's have said 95% likelihood we will trade our 1st round all the talk of who we might select should start at # 46 onwards.

I think our choices after #46 will depend largely on who / what position we trade in and out?

Outside mids:
Quinton Narkle
Steven Slimming

Forward/Rucks
Mitch McCarthy
Jeremy Goddard
Peter Ladhams
Jordan Sweet

Key Defenders:
Brennan Cox
Griffin Logue
Tyler Keitel

Jack Scrimshaw

His name is Jack...
He is a half back flanker with midfield potential...

How is Trout going to pick anyone else?

Does anyone know anything more about this kid ?

33: 197cm Calder Cannons top-ager Mitch Lewis had one of the best statistical games a big man can have in his team’s loss to the Gippsland Power in Round 15. Lewis recorded game-highs for disposals (33), uncontested possessions (24) and marks (13), as well an equal-game-high four goals... Oh, and he also had 12 hitouts and seven inside-50s.

This'll more than tickle Barrels ' fancy, but from what he's told me I do actually like Begley a lot if he's at that pick, can never have enough grunt big bodied players, even if he's just depth and isn't as good as Gary Ablett Jnr and Snr combined like barrels says, if someone goes down from the mid or half forward line he can come in and at least bring the same level of physicality combined with good goal sense

Went at 75.7% effectiveness too Mr Ignore.

He's a 198cm 92kg ruck/KPF. Taking out that game though, his season averages are:

- 12.1 possessions (63.5 % eff.)
- 5.3 marks (1.4 contested)
- 2 tackles
- 8.14 hitouts
- 1 goal

You wouldn't necessarily jump at that. Plus Gippsland are fairly ordinary this year.

Gippsland is bloody terrible this year, should start to see some really good talent over the next two years thou. Whisper are a a recent retired afl player will be the new development coach.

1. Depends who else is out there when our pick arrives, but he's very talented.
2. Plenty, but let's wait for the Champs...
3. Josh Begley, Eastern Ranges.

Thanks mate, but not heard of Clarke myself yet.
Hunter Clark on 2017 academy list- looking forward to seeing his progress

Scrimshaw, Taranto two of the favourites for our pick id say.
Tick the boxes, sizeable flexible midfielders

Venables the interesting one.
Attributes fit the needs but looks to be sliding.
Simply not getting a lot of the pill.

Would love Ainsworth, looks as if he may slide but probably not as far as our pick.
