"Brodie had 22 disposals, three clearances, four rebound-50s and showed his courage in the air to match it with the more mature VFL opposition, which included a handful of Geelong's AFL-listed players."

I fear if brodie keeps up his good form he could go top 2. With ess looking likely to let hooker go they'll have the first two picks. Damn.

Probably.

Still leaves Scrimshaw, Hura, Berry... There'll be bolters too.

Need some KPP's to step up, if I was ess id take the best mid and best kpp available.

Long long way to go but looks like I might have to find a new favorite.
Hura.

Smooth-moving 186cm midfielder. Averaging 25 touches in the first two games in the Colts for Peel.

Club is specifically looking at a tall midfielder, either in the draft or in free agency. Leaning towards the draft as most tall mids are locked up.

Not too sure Myers will get the nod, they want a Fyfe/Watson/Cripps type who is tall and can dominate clearance and around stoppages. We have a very small side with Lonie Sinclair Gresham Montagna Steven etc etc we are a couple of pieces in the midfield away from being a real threat and a tall mid is definitely an area of need.

Will Brodie (189cm) is the obvious choice, but may not be available at our pick at this rate, unless it's top 3 or so.

Then you have Jack Scrimshaw (193cm) or Jarrod Berry (191cm) if they think they can become full-time midfielders, Dylan Clarke (187cm) if he's considered tall enough, and likewise Tim Taranto (186cm) - who is a goalkicker too - and Dan Venables (186cm), who's got an excellent pedigree.

There's also GWS Academy product Lachlan Tiziani (189cm) and Oakleigh's Lachlan Walker (188cm) as overage prospects.

And that's just Victoria.
