Hopefully GC/GWS pick for position and get luxury players instead of getting best available (Taranto/Scrimshaw) but don't think they'll be dumb enough too.
Port have delisted Butcher/Schulz reckon they'll get Marshall if they can.
SPS supposedly is happy to move.
Good question.. After watching him for a while he could practically be anywhere. He reminds me abit of Andrew walker but taller and more scope to play midfield, but I think he could be a quick midfielder that kicks goals, with ability to play half back flank or forward flank, will transition into a midfielder and can start his afl career as a forward flank or half back flank, depending on what club picks himWhat do you think his best position would be?

What happened? Why didn't you post this in the draft thread? A bit of look at me time or what?
Anyone know anything about Josh Battle ?
What happened?
Thanks Pal, goes to my daughters school and we have spoken to him along with 3 other clubsOnly what I've read. Undersized key forward. A Membrey/ Darling type.
How's his agility and pace? Sounds like he's competitive, so maybe he's one that swings back and becomes a good defender? Thanks Pal, goes to my daughters school and we have spoken to him along with 3 other clubs
Was told to work on his running and has hired a trainer and has improved out sightHow's his agility and pace? Sounds like he's competitive, so maybe he's one that swings back and becomes a good defender?

According to that guy I quoted from the Essendon board who has a phantom draft on the phantom drafts board, he heard Dodoro say (or was told by Dodoro) that he expects Battle will be gone by Essendon't 2nd rounder (pick 19). He was raving about Battle's game in that final where he kicked 6 the other day.He just doesn't look like the type we need. He's seen as a top 20-30 pick so he'll get picked up somewhere
Don't think he's overly quick or agile, probably like a 4cm taller version of Membrey at the mo (may or may not grow more). How's his agility and pace? Sounds like he's competitive, so maybe he's one that swings back and becomes a good defender?
If Dildoro rates him, do not wantAccording to that guy I quoted from the Essendon board who has a phantom draft on the phantom drafts board, he heard Dodoro say (or was told by Dodoro) that he expects Battle will be gone by Essendon't 2nd rounder (pick 19). I've also been wondering if he's the type that might go well down back if he came to a club like ours, who want that 3rd-tall option back there.
I always like the idea of potentially drafting someone who has made their name up forward to play down back, if you think they have the right traits. If you're good enough to play forward to a high level, chances are you'll go well down back and potentially be an attacking threat back there, not just dour.
Is a similar height to Justin Leppitsch, who initially made his name forward, before making a very successful switch to the backline..

My wish list
1st round Scrimshaw or Berry
2nd round ( obtain thu trade ) Simpkin / Atley
3rd round Cedric Cox ( hopeful slider )
Last player we need, would be undersized for a Backman anyway.According to that guy I quoted from the Essendon board who has a phantom draft on the phantom drafts board, he heard Dodoro say (or was told by Dodoro) that he expects Battle will be gone by Essendon't 2nd rounder (pick 19). Undersized for the 3rd-tall role at 192cm (with potentially more growth in him)? I don't agree with that. If he grows another cm or two he could even be tall enough to play KPD.Last player we need, would be undersized for a Backman anyway.

But if we are looking at getting back into the second round, perhaps there are a couple of specific targets they are looking at.He just doesn't look like the type we need. He's seen as a top 20-30 pick so he'll get picked up somewhere
I'd love to grab Scrimshaw or Berry. My wish list
