We gonna have a thread for Berry, Taranto and Simpkin as well?

Anyway reckon he would be a great get if he was there.
Heard he won plenty of CP on the weekend which was a doubt on him.
Great kick, may have an apprenticeship at half back before dominating midfield.
Him and Taranto are ideal but probably won't get either.

Had a crack at a phantom draft.

#1 Hugh McCluggage Essendon
#2 Jack Bowes BID GC Match
#3 Will Brodie Brisbane
#4 Ben Ainsworth Fremantle
#5 Andrew McGrath Gold Coast
#6 Sam Petrevski-Seton Carlton
#7 Tim English GCSuns (Prestia trade)
#8 Jack Scrimshaw GWS
#9 Tim Taranto Gold Coast
#10 Todd Marshall Port Adelaide
#11 Will Setterfield BID GWSMatch
#12 Jarrod Berry StKilda

Pick #2 = 2517- 20% = 2014
(24,27,40,170=2082 points)

Hopefully GC/GWS pick for position and get luxury players instead of getting best available (Taranto/Scrimshaw) but don't think they'll be dumb enough too.
Port have delisted Butcher/Schulz reckon they'll get Marshall if they can.
SPS supposedly is happy to move.

Good effort. I'll have a crack

Pick 1 - Ess - Mcluggage
Pick 2 - GC - Bowes (Bris bid)
Pick 3 - Bris - Brodie
Pick 4 - Freo - SPS
Pick 5 - Carl - Ainsworth
Pick 6 - GC (Prestia pick) - McGrath
Pick 7 - GWS - Marshall
Pick 8 - GC - Scrimshaw
Pick 9 - Port - English
Pick 10 - StK - *Setterfield

*Agreement between clubs during trade week to let Settlerfield go to StK. Very hopefull I know....

What do you think his best position would be?
Good question.. After watching him for a while he could practically be anywhere. He reminds me abit of Andrew walker but taller and more scope to play midfield, but I think he could be a quick midfielder that kicks goals, with ability to play half back flank or forward flank, will transition into a midfielder and can start his afl career as a forward flank or half back flank, depending on what club picks him

What happened?

Some campaigner created a new thread about drafting Scrimshaw instead of posting in this thread. I showed him who was boss as an alpha campaigner does. Nekminute, the new thread was deleted, my post moved here, I basked in glory at internet bullying some beta campaigner. It was epic.

How's his agility and pace? Sounds like he's competitive, so maybe he's one that swings back and becomes a good defender?
Was told to work on his running and has hired a trainer and has improved out sight

He won the three K time trial so he goes well with endurance. I heard he has a few question marks over his game. His biggest problem seems to be he's only mid sized for a KPF. i thought we could turn him into another Dempster good size for that role. He kicked 6 goals in a game recently too so can convert.

He just doesn't look like the type we need. He's seen as a top 20-30 pick so he'll get picked up somewhere
According to that guy I quoted from the Essendon board who has a phantom draft on the phantom drafts board, he heard Dodoro say (or was told by Dodoro) that he expects Battle will be gone by Essendon't 2nd rounder (pick 19). He was raving about Battle's game in that final where he kicked 6 the other day.

Don't think he's overly quick or agile, probably like a 4cm taller version of Membrey at the mo (may or may not grow more).

I've also been wondering if he's the type that might go well down back if he came to a club like ours, who want that 3rd-tall option back there.

I always like the idea of potentially drafting someone who has made their name up forward to play down back, if you think they have the right traits. If you're good enough to play forward to a high level, chances are you'll go well down back and potentially be an attacking threat back there, not just dour.

Is a similar height to Justin Leppitsch, who initially made his name forward, before making a very successful switch to the backline..

If Dildoro rates him, do not want

2nd round ( obtain thu trade ) Simpkin / Atley
3rd round Cedric Cox ( hopeful slider )

Last player we need, would be undersized for a Backman anyway.
Hes a tram track runner

Has anyone had an eye on Sam Bevan who played 2016 with Port Melbourne.
Undersized for the 3rd-tall role at 192cm (with potentially more growth in him)? I don't agree with that. If he grows another cm or two he could even be tall enough to play KPD.

They should measure their toe to fingertip height.
I'm convinced Jason Blake had no neck and disproportionately long arms.

I'd love to grab Scrimshaw or Berry.

I'd love to get me hands on Simpkin or Atley.

Cox; meh
