Jack Scrimshaw (193cm) or Jarrod Berry (191cm) if they think they can become full-time midfielders, Will Brodie (189cm) if here's still there, Dylan Clarke (187cm) if he's considered tall enough, and likewise Tim Taranto (186cm), who is a goalkicker too - and Dan Venables (186cm), who's got an excellent pedigree.

There's also GWS Academy product Lachlan Tiziani (189cm) and Oakleigh's Lachlan Walker (188cm) as overage prospects.

And that's just Victoria.
Trout, is that you?

Yeah mate the club is hopeful he will come along nicely this year and next...Richo always quick to heap praise on the kid and reckon's he'll be a star for us. He is one I'm looking for to be that tall mid that we need.

Not too sure Myers will get the nod, they want a Fyfe/Watson/Cripps type who is tall and can dominate clearance and around stoppages. We have a very small side with Lonie Sinclair Gresham Montagna Steven etc etc we are a couple of pieces in the midfield away from being a real threat and a tall mid is definitely an area of need.
They're not convinced Acres can play that role?

He just hasn't done enough and he may not even be suited to that type of role, he may be more of a wingman who is damaging out in open space. His last name suggest so, ha. But yeah he's definitely a work in progress. Wouldn't hurt to nab one in the trade period anyway. Two is better than one IMO.

Will Brodie (189cm) is the obvious choice, but may not be available at our pick at this rate, unless it's top 3 or so.

I hope we don't draft another player who "may be able to make it as a midfielder". IMO we have enough "could be a midfielder" types already.
I guess a lot will depend on what we see during this season. The development of players like Acres, Dunstan, and even others like Minchington could be crucial for the direction our drafting takes.

Please.

I'm prettier than Trout.

You wish Barrels

I don't think where you play as a junior matters all that much, but fair enough.

The others are still viable though, and if you want size and stoppage ability, WA's Sam Powell-Pepper (188cm) is a big strong lad - but his kicking is a bit iffy, and IMO we have enough of that - and Noah Hura (186cm) is classy.

NT's Jamie Hampton (186cm) is apparently lightning fast, elusive and strong, but very poor defensively. Curtly's brother, he's playing for West Adelaide in the Colts.

True, Nat Fyfe was a skinny full forward for WA in the under 18 champs.

Where are you getting this info from? I've never heard Richo praise him, quite the opposite hence why Acres is dropped all the time to work on defensive deficiencies (something Richo loves).

Watch any of Richo's press conferences over the last couple of weeks. Sure he has to improve areas of his game but Richo has stated on many occasions that he'll be a star for us.

Hey Defacto any thoughts on Jack Beverley from Subiaco as a potential big bodied midfielder (188cm, 83kg)?

Won the Colts best and fairest last year.
Not sure mate. Our colts have been pretty shitty of late. Yet to check him out tbh

I might have to go watch them

Yep. If we have to choose between Robbie Gray and David Mundy you take Robbie Gray.

"Tell me why, you don't like Mundy..."
