Loving that efficiency in the champs mate.

He's usually beautiful by foot; TAC Cup was definitely the exception.

Probably tried to 'do too much'.

For some reason I'm not all that convinced on Brodie, my first 2 would be McCluggage and SPS, think Taranto suits us nicely at our pick

Barrels apologies is this has already been asked 10 times already but who's the best clearance winning mid in this draft? will they be avilable at our pick, if not who's the option that will be?
In lieu of his Barrelness attending to your very polite enquiry can I list some of Chris25's top inside mids and general mids for your consideration in the meantime?

Inside Midfielders
1. Will Brodie
2. Jonty Scharenberg
3. Brad Scheer
4. Jack Graham
5. Jake Pitman
6. Luke Bunker
7. Dylan Clarke
8. Joseph Atley
9. Jack Roughsedge
10. Willem Drew

General Midfielders

1. Jack Bowes
2. Hugh McCluggage
3. Will Setterfield
4. Daniel Venables
5. Kobe Mutch
6. Zac Fisher
7. Brandon Parfitt
8. Matt Guelfi
9. Connor Byrne
10. Callum Brown

... And Knightmare's top 5 contested possession players ....

"Jack Graham, Dylan Clarke, Brad Scheer, Will Brodie and Willem Drew would all be right up there."

First AFL Draft Central PD has gone live. Saints (me) took;

#9: Dan Venables - 186cm mid/fwd
#44: Josh Begley - 187cm fwd/mid
#62: Ari Sakeson - 190cm utility
#80: Taylin Duman - 193cm utility

Have at it troops; destroy.
No problem with that hand. Possible alternative ....

#9 Tim Taranto H:186cm W:82kg FWD/MID
#44 Willem Drew H:188cm W:78kg MID
#62 Nick Larkey H: 197cm W: 82kg UTIL
#80 Cedric Cox H: 180cm W: 74kg UTIL

I still want Jont! He has been used as a utility and thrown in just about every position and performed from what I saw in the championships. I'd be happy to take him as high as 7ish if all the obvious guns are gone.

Like it.

Cheers. Agree not everything is about stats however it's a strong part of decision making especially when investing a top 10 pick.

Tananto averaging 26 touches & a goal a game is far superior to Vennables output. I realise there's a few factors you've mentioned here & on Twitter. But still, picking Taranto ahead of Vennables is a no-brainer for me.

I am just picking the type here, not the level - Venables is a Dangerfield type whereas Taranto is more a Robbie Gray type.

Best is Brodie, but Jack Graham and Dylan Clarke are excellent clearance players.

They're just not top 15 players.
