Poor mans gresh with attitude and no midfield game.
He looks a gun to me. He's got a bit of the Jake Stringer flog about him but he looks like a player.

Devon SmithAinsworth - Gresham comparison is pretty average.
Ainsworth could never accumulate the amount of ball that Gresh did in TAC cup through the middle. He lacks the evasiveness that Jade has too.
What Ainsworth has in spades is athleticism, marking ability despite his height and the nous to put the ball through the big sticks from anywhere. He is a seriously good player, and the only reason the Power aren't a complete rabble.
Jamie Elliot is a far better comparison, albeit with a larger ceiling for improvement for Ainsworth.
I still think Elliot fits a better description. Maybe even Mark Williams at Hawthorn circa 05. Plays as a undersized key forward.Devon Smith

The club is in good knick. We have to back ourselves to keep interstate player.I believe we should concentrate on Victorian, Tasmanian, or even N.T. kids. No home state teams to go home to.

Roo and Armo guys who have hung around.
Blake and Lukey in recent years.
Strong character is a must for interstate kids though
he may be a mid one day, but taking him would just result in 3 years of everyone complaining about taking half backs all the time and being impatient for them to become midsTake scrimshaw if he's there

ems to me quite similar to 2MP with his kicking and movement with English being more versatile but not as dominant up forward and 2MP being the other way roundAnother BOG for English this weekend , continuing a great run of form post championships. He will be long gone by St.Kilda's pick and should go top 5. Doesn't get mentioned much here because he's from WA.
He is a pure ruckman and is dominating the reserves now as he dominated the U 18's pre-championships. His senior sides strength is in it's ruck and tall forwards , and at most WAFL sides he would have already played senior football. He will be a top line AFL ruckman as sure as hell. We at St.Kilda won't have to worry about him as he will be long gone by pick 9 or 10. If Essendon weren't picking first , I would have him a sneaky chance of going no 1.Se

Don't know why you'd pick him at number 1, a pure ruckman. He is a pure ruckman and is dominating the reserves now as he dominated the U 18's pre-championships.
