The weekends WA newspapers have talked up Cedric Cox , Tim English and Sam Petrevski-Seton. Kevin Sheehan is quoted as saying English and SPS are a chance to be no 1 and the journo suggests Fremantle will be picking one or the other. They say English has "come from the clouds in draft reckoning " , and has so many more strings to his bow on top of his aerial ability and just so much upside. SPS got compared to Cyril and Michael Walters.

I'd say the opposite. They know they need to go to the draft ASAP to rebuild the list, so paying with future picks means they can start sooner.

Richmond's first pick next year could be no. 2 as opposed to no.6 (possibly no.7 if Brisbane get a priority) They are one club that needs to tread very carefully as trading in future first round picks is going to burn a club very soon. Fremantle dodged a bullet with Cam McCarthy as GWS could have had pick 3 instead of the pick 17 or 18 Freo were anticipating it to be.

Would love SPS. There's a few at the top either with question marks or a bit of a "no 1? Really", about them.

Dunno mate. I don't follow the juniors that closely at all.TBH.

I just know of Kayle bc he plays for my old club and I've sort of been watching since he stated playing seniors at 14/15

Ha ha that's why I wanted Answerth, he's from my kids junior club. He's playing at Sandringham in our VFL side and seems to be killing it.

It's a shame we don't have second round pick to get our third tall. I reckon Josh Battle would be able to replace Dempster as he's quick and won the 3km time trial so must have fair endurance. He's a goal kicker in the Tim Membery mould but if we could turn him into a mid sized back it would be handy and give us more options to swing players either end. Rotham otherwise.

If we trade our 10 into 2 later picks perhaps these guys come into play.

I like they idea of pick 10 for steele and pick 17 or whatever. Then grab one of gallucci, clarke or bolton.

Looks a good player but cannot see us being slightly interested.

He's a 6"1 inside midfielder with solid skills from Adelaide. We already have Dunstan.

You would have to think so. Fin would want out you would think he's looking at a long wait to even play regular games. Corr would be another who must be sick of waiting. When Davis went down he came in and since has gone back to NEAFL. He's from the 2012 draft from memory and has never established himself. He's more a stopper than a star but he'd do the trick as a second KPD.
