He seems to be good in the big games though. Was good for most of the carnival, had a ripper in the GF and was pretty good again in the all stars game.
For sure but hes not the fyfe type that ive seen people describe him as

I have a feeling given we have done well addressing depth this year, we won't be paying much attention to where players play etc.

We would just be looking at best available at 23 and 36 you'd expect?

Ie if that so happened to be 2 ruckmen, we'd get 2 ruckmen? (of course this is pretty unlikely to be the case)

I just think anyone we could get with those picks could/will be best 22 by 2018-2020.

So we may as get best available so at least they will have the best possible trade currency.
(heaven forbid we ever have to trade them, but ya know....)

Don't entirely agree - we need some outside run and carry. I would take a punt on someone who tested extremely well for speed, and repeat speed.

Bolton will be gone before rotham. Too many people have a misunderstanding of rotham and think hes something he isnt

Wce have been into bolton for a while now. I think theyre keen on him.

SPP best is amazing but he's very inconsistent. Hes the type of selection that could turn out to be top 5 in his draft class or just be total bust.

Having said that im a massive fan of SPP and an even bigger fan on bolton since i first saw him. Hes not as small as people think
Can you describe Rotham? Any player comparison?

Im interested in the player barrels like that sounded like a smokie. What was his name again and where do we think he will go?
Josh Begley at 36?

If we get a tall at 23, I'm game. #getbarrelstothedraft

Otherwise Brennan Cox or Jack Maibaum please.

What if we got Cedric Cox and Brennan Cox?

Don't despair yet... Bishop's current (not yet updated) PD has Gold Coast taking Ollie Florent at... pick 23! He has Gallucci and Berry still available too.

And at pick 36? Shai Bolton... to West Coast.

BUT... the very next pick, Scharenberg heads to the Dogs at pick 37!

Will update it by early next week! Florent easily Top 20 for me.

Its hard to compare him to an existing player but hes more roberton than fyfe. Hes a half back flanker possibly third defencive tall or a winger.

If i had to describe him as a player maybe roberton mixed with port adelaides polec

But he certainly is not in the fyfe mold

From footage ive seen of him , i think he is better than kids tipped to go top 15 .
Reminds me of Zac Merrett .
Good disposal , quick , smart , tough .
A lot of the WA kids are pretty under rated by the online scribes. Theres some pretty good players in there this year

Joshua Begley.

He'll go somewhere from mid-2nd to late 3rd IMO. He just has so so much scope for improvement considering where he's come from.

Placing 2nd in the Ranges B&F didn't hurt his chances either.

Would you take him at pick 36? Will he last until then?

Where do you see him playing long term?

I'd take him at 23, but that's just me. ;)

Long term he's a powerful mid that spends significant time one-out forward. Think Membrey crossed with Armo.

And wouldn't you know who has picks right before us? Yep fricken Eagles and Freo at 34 and 35.
They'll know them inside out :-(

Strnadica is one i really like that no one seems to rate

Wce will use their 2nd on waterman i think

I think bolton goes at west coast first pick :-( such a good outside player

If I was a betting man, I'd say it's Gallucci at 23, with Cox as a potential pick, and an outside chance of someone like Venables still being available.

At 36 I'd be hoping for my boy, but realistically it's likely to be the best available speedster.
