There's interest in Cedric as high as the teens.

If we don't get him, he may well be a large part of why we get someone who wasn't supposed to still be there.
Exactly. Maybe even Florent the Machine.

Just another reason to like him.

I still stand by my comment that 2 or 3 of Cox, Bolton, Rotham, SPP, Galluci , Hayward, Witherden , Florent , Venables, Marshall will be there.

As Mav2Membrey suggested its not possible to pick 30 players in 23 picks.
It is however possible for a team to pick a total smokey and push them all down the pecking order.

Bolton a good get but Poholke is a pass from me. Doesn't win a heap of the ball and isn't a good kick outside of the short stuff so he doesn't sound like he would fill any of our needs or be an upgrade on guys like Eli and Murdoch who were just let go.

Would rather grab Begley if that's how the draft was playing out.

WILLIE Rioli, the cousin of Hawthorn superstar Cyril, was among those to impress at South Australia's NAB AFL Draft Combine on Saturday.

Rioli ran 2.98sec for the 20m sprint and showed improvement in his beep test, registering 13.2. The small forward/midfielder lost 16kg in the pre-season to put himself in contention to be picked up by an AFL club.

The 21-year-old booted four goals for the SANFL in the representative clash against the VFL in May.

Yeah went on to read that after I saw your pic, which was clearly prior to the 16kg shedding!

Don't know how much truth is in it but have heard today that Essendon have settled on McCluggage.

very very interesting. that settles the discussions on pick 2 and 3 that could have seen ainsworth slide

sounds like
Pick 1 (Essendon): McCluggage
Pick 2 (GWS): McGrath
Pick 3 (Brisbane): Ainsworth

i wonder what that means for pick 4... tarranto/sps/scrimshaw?
