Yeah, it would be a really interesting discussion.

SPP I definitely see as the safest bet, being probably the most mature and with strong leadership skills and so-on and with his more contested game being pretty certain to translate to senior AFL footy. Think he's the least likely to be a "bust" or to want to leave and has possibly as much upside as the other two as well.

According to someone from the West Coast board- who seems very knowledgeable on the WA prospects every year (Royal Eagle)- he's been training at West Coast all year and working closely with their development coaching staff, which may explain why his kicking seems to have improved so much from last year. Is also a good sign that it could continue to improve. He also described him as extremely loyal (and as such unlikely to leave a club once he arrives there) and future captaincy material.

The other two obviously bring some very desirable things to the table as well though, so I'd be very excited if we got any of them.

Florent could still be a chance. Twomey said it's hard to get a gauge on where he lands.

Interesting that he said we've been keeping a close eye on Battle and that we've shown recent interest in Himmelberg.

you would've seen GWS wont lose any picks this year from Whitfield incident, however am hearing next year they will, and we do just happen to have 2 first round picks next year. GWS will need to Aquire picks in order to draft more academy kids coming through, so potentially move for hopper or maybe even Shiel or kelly will be on.

if we are taking SPP and with the recent additions of Steven and Steele you would think our target is kelly not shiel
